You can watch the whales from the comfort of the couch when they come by Trinidad. We have been renting VRBO homes for over 25 years. This is the cleanest and most comfortable home we have ever rented. It is an older home, but it is well maintained and has a great layout. The views are incredible, and the town of Trinidad is truly special. The rental process was simple, and the owner was great. Hope to return someday.

This was our second stay at the Boathouse and we were not disappointed. The setting is outstanding with 180 degree unobstructed views of the harbor including great sunsets over the ocean. The house is very comfortable with excellent attention to detail. We had a great time kayaking, hiking, reading, jig saw puzzling, and just enjoying the view. My only suggestion is the kitchen could use more forks and an orange juicer. We are planning our return.

The Boathouse is perfectly located, and with unbelievable panoramic views. The beds are amazingly comfortable, the kitchen well stocked with everything even a gourmet cook could want. We did bring our own Keurig and coffee. The large shower with bench was a joy. The ocean beach and bay harbor are walking distance, as is the entire town if walking is your preference.
