Hotel James Joyce arvostelua

This is a small, unique hotel with wonderfully friendly staff and cute, small rooms with character. We only stayed one night, but had a nice stay and appreciated the hospitality. If you have a room on the 5th floor like we did, you’ll have to walk up one narrow, winding flight of stairs past the elevator limit of the 4th floor, so anyone with concerns about that should ensure they request a room on the 4th floor or below. The room was small but cute, and we thought the amenities were decent for the price. Overall, a good experience for a quick overnight stay before boarding a cruise—nothing fancy, but good nonetheless!

Good for a one-night pre-cruise stay The location of Hotel James Joyce is good- walking distance to many attractions. However, it is located in an alley which could be difficult to find for the first time. The room while clean is basic and small. The bathroom is clean. The amenities are basic. Nadine- the front desk staff is helpful and friendly too. However, I may not choose this Hotel again if and when we return to Trieste in the future.

Hotel ideale per visitare Trieste e dintorni: posizione centralissima, camere molto pulite ed accoglienti, colazione adeguata sia dolce che salata. Grazie davvero a Franco per la sua ospitalità e cordialità, per i preziosi consigli e per i ristoranti tipici non turistici che ci ha prenotato.

Hôtel très bien placé dans la vieille ville et calme. Très proche de l’embarquement pour les croisières et à 15 minutes à pied de la gare ferroviaire et des autocars. . Petit déjeuner-buffet correct. Heure de Check-out à respecter. À recommander

Air conditioners don’t work efficiently First of all I want the say the receptionist Valentina was fabulous but not being paid enough to deal with problems. Overall a good hotel but it was a 38 degree Celsius day and air con not working, air con in corridor was very cool but the stories kept changing and we got no relief from the heat, it was too uncomfortable. We asked to speak to the Manager but not forth coming, poor service and won’t be back 👎

Cozy room in excellent location. We had a very nice but short stay the night before our cruise. The location is excellent, just steps from the main piazza and cruise port. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early which allowed us to take a nap after our journey. There is an elevator. The room was efficient and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The only negative is that sound carried throughout the building and we were able to hear many conversations from our 3rd floor room well into the night. We would definitely stay there again if ever in Trieste.

Great little Trieste hotel We enjoyed our stay at the James Joyce, in the heart of the old city and the many many restaurants , cafes and bars. The breakfast was good, the service friendly, and the location perfect. I’d stay again.

Great small hotel. Loved hotel situated in pedestrian area of central Trieste. Lovely breakfast with a good selection of food. Friendly and helpful staff. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Triste for short visit After a cancelled flight and missed first night we arrived at the small hotel by shuttle and had a quick stay. Had to pay for missed night, frustrating but understandable. Great staff, location, room. Not enough time but all good. Would return.
