Club St. George

Nice view, clean, klima and pool.

Przenieśli nas do innego swojego hotelu bez wcześniejszej zapowiedzi, a wy nam przysłaliście jedynie pinezkę do hotelu trochę mało informacji.

Hôtel HORRIBLE... Nous sommes arrivés a 1h du matin a Paphos nous avons étais accueilli par un individu (type migrant) qui ronflé affalé sur le canapé de la réception, au look sale et déplacé pour son poste ne sachant en aucun cas ce qu'il devait faire pour nous accueillir, chambre très décevante literie affreuse et hygiène douteuse pas d'eau chaude et j'en passe.... Le lendemain nous sommes réveillée par des cris d'enfants et d'adultes en effet nous sommes placés dans un coins de l'hôtel où il y a des locaux qui y résident à l'année tellement improbable, je vous laisse imaginer l'ambiance pour des vacances.... Arrivés à la réception de l'établissement le directeur très sale sur lui également nous fait bien savoir qu'on le dérange énormément qu'il déteste son emploi et surtout les touristes, avec une arrogance et un mépris tellement désagréable pour nous, le prix du petit déjeuner augmente aux physiques des clients. Nous sommes partis à 4h du matin pour rentrer en France et une fois arrivé à l'accueil de l'hôtel le même individu qu'à l'arrivée dormais toujours aussi profondément encore affalé sur le canapé toujours aussi propre sur lui me disant juste de posé les clés la. Un établissement que l'on déconseille à toutes et à tous en espérant que tout les commentaires sur cette établissement arrivent jusqu'aux plates-formes de voyages type " booking, tripadvisor, zenhôtels ect..." pour que cela change.

The house was really nice, even with a private pool. The main pool was really convenient for children. However some facilities are not very well maintained, maybe because it was not high season. However the price was very good for what we got.

Firstly, we had booked and paid for 2 serviced apartments at Club St George Resort in Emba, Paphos and when we arrived at their reception after a late night flight, we were told that large sections of Club St George Resort were still under maintenance and we were “upgraded” to 2 rooms at their “sister resort” Panareti Coral Bay 10.8 km away. When we arrived at Panareti after some searching to find the correct entrance, checked in and saw the rooms, we saw that we were duped and that this was clearly not an Upgrade, but in fact a severe Downgrade. Panareti “Resort” is VERY tired and dilapidated and desperately needs a cash injection of a couple of million for a total renovation from the ground up. Panareti cannot possibly still qualify for 4 stars - maybe it did 30 years ago when it was slightly newer ? Several months after other guests’ reviews we found the exact same unprotected red electrical wiring still hanging out of junction boxes in several places in the passage leading to the rooms. Also we experienced day and night the exact same issue as others with the sound of water and sewerage from the toilets above flowing through the pipes in the void of our room’s ceiling - unacceptable! Food was adequate but nothing exceptional with more-or-less the same selection each morning at the breakfast buffet. Although it is just over a 1 block walk past some villas under construction to the ocean, the shore is rocky here, and the closest sandy beach is about 15 minutes walk
