Beyond Sunset Resort & Villas

This hotel was amazing. We started our trip across the country staying here. We originally booked for 4/5 days but loved it so much we canceled our next stop to extend our stay here. They were very accommodating and figured out a way to let us remain in our room the extra days. There is so many positives it's hard to list them all. The staff amazing and friendly. The bar excellent service and cold refreshing drinks. The food was incredible, fresh, and well priced. We fell in love with our room Sunset Dream #1. The evenings on the huge porch with a storm rolling in were the best! The pool was clean and cool. Kory was friendly and helpful. This really was a home away from home. We are coming back again in Nov 2024 and will be staying here a week. I cannot wait!

We have mixed feelings about this resort. On the one hand, it’s understandable that average beach properties tend to suffer from greater wear and tear but this property was below what I expected for a price of USD 680 for three nights. The standards for service are relatively low in Jamaica, in general, and this resort was not much different. The property is located right at the sea providing very nice sunset views (probably the best in the vicinity, but the closest ***** resembling a beach is some 200 m away and requires minor rock climbing. Which itself could be fun, but you can’t really go and walk on the beach late in the dark, for example. A better beach is some 10-15 minutes walk away. The local restaurant is pretty ok, both price- and quality-wise (by Jamaican standards, which are not great), but the de facto available menu was limited. Even the most basic local components were missing from the breakfast menu. There are plenty of other restaurants around, although it’s a bit tricky to walk on narrow roads in the dark. But it’s pretty fun to walk around during the day, visiting different restaurants, the local fruit stand, or a souvenir shop. And to conclude on a positive note - WiFi worked pretty well.

We stayed 2 nights in the hotel. We had a lovely room with own terras overlooking the sea. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The only negative remark is that both morning breakfasts there was no fresh fruit available. Which is remarkable for Jamaica where there is an abundance of all sorts of fruits

We had a fantastic stay in the honeymoon suite at Beyond Sunsets. The room was incredible, it was so spacious, had stunning ocean views and you fell asleep and woke up to the sounds of the waves lapping on the shore. Pure heaven! It is also in a brilliant location, in walking distance to the local bars and restaurants. Treasure Beach was our favourite part of Jamaica - it felt more authentic and safe than the resort towns and the locals were so friendly with zero hustling. There happened to be the first ever rum and reggae festival held at Jack Spratt next door when we visited which was so well organised and fun, ending with a bonfire on the beach. A trip to Treasure Beach wouldn’t be complete without sampling Kim’s place - she makes incredible coconut curried and mango chicken! Also check out the curried lobster at Eggys - you will not regret it!!! Kory was very receptive and helpful over email before we arrived regarding activities. The only advice I would give to the hotel is that an information pack would have been helpful, with timings for check out/meal times etc. But overall we found the staff friendly enough and would definitley stay again.

This is an excellent place to stay, great customer service. The rooms are spacious and clean, the view of the ocean was breath taking the sound of the waves at night were soothing I would definitely go back. Quick tip try the food

This hotel is a little paradise on earth! We fell in love with it! They helped us make my husbands birthday a special evening! We were here for 3 weeks and we didn’t want to leave! We travel all over the world and this is one of our favorite spots! We are booked for our next 2 trips to sunset! The staff, everyone from Janette, Cory and their team work very hard for you to enjoy all that treasure beach has to offer! The cleaning girls go out of their way to make your room spotless…the chefs, headed up by the lovely sanika cooked their hearts out and I went home 2 pounds heavier lol! The front desk reception, the bartenders and waitresses all lovely and helpful. Let’s not forget the ground guys…working so hard to keep it lovely and fresh. We will continue to come back time and time again! It’s location on calabash just can’t be beat! I highly recommend Beyond Sunset Resorts and Villas if you want to taste a true piece of Jamaica.

This place has been by far the best stay i've veen so far in Jamaica! Right of the beach, room is spacious and comfortable and clean, staff ia beyong expectation nice and ready to make you feel on vacation! Corey the owner will assure a safe and fun time. Beautiful resort. Room views are stunning you feel like you’re in paradise, the staff is exceptional and rooms are very clean. The food is great and having a pool so close to our room was a huge plus. We would stay again and highly recommend.

The customer service at Beyond Sunset formerly Sunset Beach Resort is exceptional. Ms. Kaloo, the manager was engaged in every aspect of the operations. She ensured that our stay exceeded our expectations. Shashale, the front desk receptionist catered to our every need. Every encounter with the staff was pleasant.. Best customer service in Jamaica. The rooms were clean. Food was excellent. The waves crashing against the rocks close to our villa was breathtaking and relaxing. I can't wait to go back!
