Outdoor Amenities: Relax at the large built-in picnic table below the porch or explore the open-air plaza nearby. Wander along hiking pathways leading to three serene ponds or the spectacular 90,000-gallon pool featuring a grotto and waterfall. Austin Hill Country Charm: Experience the tranquility of the Austin Hill Country while being just minutes from downtown Austin. Important Details: Natural Terrain: The property features gravel roads, walkways, and uneven stone stairs. Sensible shoes or tennis shoes are recommended for navigating the rough terrain. Nature and Wildlife: Immerse yourself in nature with modern comforts. Expect to see birds, squirrels, lizards, and the occasional bug or spider. Eco-Friendly Pool: The pool is naturally fed by rainwater and free of chemicals, with fish swimming and some silt on the bottom. A robust filtration system filters the entirety of the pool every hour, so it is safe to swim in year-round. It may appear green in spring and early summer, but it remains safe for swimming. Quiet getaway Stayed here with my husband and 2 small dogs. Such a charming property! Be sure to check the parking instructions ahead of time so you know how to access the property. Bed was super comfortable, great working AC to cool off, and very well maintained property. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

my favorite retreat I’ve ever stayed in Tx this place is truly special and one of a kind- it’s perched in the treetops but beautiful sculptures are nestled everywhere on the property. From the outdoor shower to enjoying golden hour dining al fresco, you would never feel like you’re in Austin.Having lived in Texas and Austin for over 15 years, this place gives you the best of both worlds- 10 min from Downtown but once you’re in the hills, you’ll get to enjoy all the beautiful nature, smells and wildlife.It’s perfect for you if you’re looking for a nature retreat that will allow you to slow down and disconnect but is also close enough to creature comforts. The pool is such a treat to use and the water makes your skin feel rejuvenated. I will try to stay at this property everytime I come back to town- its magic

Peaceful and Secluded We were helping our daughter move from one home to another in Austin. This was the perfect place to come home to in the evenings. It is a beautiful, well-equipped place, with lovely outdoor seating areas and lighting, just what we needed after some very long days.

Natural paradise Clean and well appointed down to makeup towels and spices, the directions are a tad tricky and the road in is a little bumpy but it’s So worth it! Easy and private check in and reasonable check out requests. Comfy beds with good linens and plenty of pillows and towels. Do stop for grocer on your way in that first night as restraints and grocery stores are 15-20 minutes back down a dark windy road. The perfect getaway after a busy day in Austin. The pool is natural and exquisite. .

A breath of fresh air! David's place made me remember how great the outdoors can be... from the comfort of a cozy patio and relaxing stay! There was plenty of room for me and my friends and we celebrated a very chill Halloween with snacks and spooky movies, all in the privacy of our little home away from home. Thanks again for opening your doors to us, David!
