There is cable tv in both bedrooms and wifi available at the cabin also, but with the amazing scenic view offered from this cabin why would you watch television? Sit back, relax, and enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains, because you know... the Mountains Are Calling. Health hazard. Walked in and the entire house smelled very bad like rodent urine. The 2 couches were responsible for the odor. My husband removed the cushions and saw a mouse nest. Additionally, one window was missing the blind and the curtains on the doors to the deck did not completely cover them. There were cobwebs all over. The bottom of the shower curtain had black spots and mildew. The deck had not been swept and you could not sit outside as the chair cushions were wet. Also, one of the couch pillows had been left outside and was wet. The handle on the microwave was broken.

Unexpected Roommates The location was decent and the house was cozy, although needed some upkeep. Our house is in the woods, so we aren't as squeamish as some would be, but we encountered at least one mouse running around, leaving droppings on beds, in the shower, etc. We were missing a top sheet on our bed - couldn't find another to use. When we stripped the bed, we saw mold on the mattress pad in several spots. Kerig was broken. Some missing curtains/blinds allowed neighbors to see in (we could see them!) The extras (toothbrushes, etc) were a nice touch. Surrounding pasture/cows were peaceful. No traffic noise. We did communicate with the rental company. It wouldn't take much to get the property "renter friendly" - but wasn't ready for renters quite yet.

Best Christmas Ever Truly enjoyed my stay. There was a Christmas tree with lights, the view of the mountains were outstanding, and the house had everything needed. I plan to return in the near future.

Welcoming and Beautiful My stay was amazing. I went for some self reflection. I had so many plans while I was Hiawasee. All the trails and waterfalls to explore. Once I saw the Amazingly Beautiful view and the cozy welcoming feeling. I didn't leave until checkout. Will definitely be one of my favorites. Thank you!!

Georgia Mountain Fair stay Very clean! Well equipped kitchen and a great view. A little hard to find the first time, at night. But once we had it figured out, it was easy. Very convenient to Hiawassee, but felt totally out in the country.
