I will start with the fact the hotel, just one year old, is well designed and Bondia Hotels has clearly made a significant investment in Tossa de Mar. We stayed only one night, but will never return to this property. After checking in we settled into our room, while washing our hands the handle to one of the two sinks literally fell into the basin. It would have been impossible for that sink to be cleaned by housekeeping and not know the bolt in the handle had been severed. My partner then took a shower and noticed that the bath matt had brown stains on it... from human fecal matter that was all over the bathroom floor. After freaking out, we informed the front desk staff who stated it would be taken care of but that we cannot move rooms because they are fully committed and that we should speak to the manager in the morning. We spent 2 hours at the pool and returned to the room only to find the exact same pile of crap covered towels on the floor... this is simply inexcusable for a room costing over 500€ a night. I showered for dinner wearing flip flops and we never were barefoot in the room again. We met with the front desk who were adamat the room had been cleaned... she went to look for herself and upon our return from dinner the pile of towels was gone. At checkout, we were told there was no note on our reservation, no accomodation could be made, but we could email the manager who was not there. In the 24 hours we were there... no manager was on site... Bondia Hotels is a complete disappointment.
