Sol Torremolinos - Don Pedro

Lovely hotel with excellent friendly staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable (no kettle in the room though). My wife took Ill and was hospitalised half way through our stay and the staff were very helpful. Carlos, the jet2 rep was excellent too.

Nous avons passé une semaine en couple Tout étais très bien Les buffets et les boissons en formule all inclusive sont de qualité Des petites animations tous les soirs à l’hôtel en pleins mois de novembre c’est agréable L’hôtel, intérieur comme extérieur est très propre. Et aussi très bien situé Et le personnel très gentil Nous n’avons pas eut trop de mal à nous faire comprendre en français. Un séjours très reposant avec des espagnols forts sympathiques

Where do I start ,the location of the hotel is perfect,across the road from the beach .The rooms are lovely and suitable for guests with mobility issues.The restaurants are spacious and spotless clean .Great variety of food, cooked to perfection.Now onto the staff,each and every member of staff are so pleasant,hardworking ,conscientious.Lola ,Raul and dining room always welcome you with a smile .Management are hands on ,the young tall dark haired ,with a beard (sorry didn’t get his name) but he’ll know who I am as I spoke to him on a few occasions,rolls up his sleeves and is definitely a huge part of his team .On the morning of departure there had been a severe thunderstorm and both dining rooms were flooded along with reception areas ,I’m eternally grateful for each and everyone of the staff who were up to there ankles in water .They we’re all mopping up ,the security,pool people,gardeners and even the chef had his wellies on .The young manager appeared in jeans and wellies too.A wonderful team effort by all .The young waiter with his trousers rolled up serving a continental breakfast for departing guests . Thank you for all your dedication. I will certainly return to Don Pedro soon .

Painful Holiday Last Saturday 2 Nov we arrived at Sol don Pedro for 9 nights half board to good weather and nice room. Unfortunatley things took a turn, i contacted novovirus and was unable to eat from Tues due to sickness surviving on toast each day. My husband kept complaining each day he was getting bit from ants and could not understand HOW? His full body is bit alive and blistering v painful for him to our horror the ants were in the bed never experienced anything like recorded a video. We alerted reception who moved room immediately. Spoke to guest experience manager on Sat eve that is last night who offered us full board and a free drink for last night as still sick we did not accept this. My husband has blistered the whole night with amount of ant bites on his body and has torn his flesh the whole night with the itch Counting down the hours to go home. This is not the usual treatment or quality from this 4 star hotel. We paid in good faith to enjoy the holiday not to have an army of ants in the bed and around it body destroyed in bites hot pokers all night cannot sleep see per video clip certainty put me off coming back pity as had so many good memories this is one break will be glad to get home from. The customer experience manager was worse that useless we felt that we were looked down on for complaining. Never again do we want to go through this again. Customer service worse than useless. Avoid if you value your health as husband recovering from brain cancer and didnt need this stuff happening. We expected more from customer services given that this was a premier room we had paid for as there on our wedding aniversary AVOID

Really lovely hotel. We had an xtra sol family suite. It was a great size with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a really big outside space. Room number 2016. Perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. It was cleaned daily. There are so many pools and outside areas to choose from. This time of year as expected, outside pools were freezing, but my children used them as the weather was hot and also loved the warmer inside pool. The loungers overlooking the beach were amazing. The staff were without exception very friendly and accommodating. A credit to the hotel complex. The only thing that let it down a little for us, although not enough to lose a star was the food. This is only because we are vegetarian. We were half board and breakfast was great, but we really struggled at tea time. As little to no thought is given to people that don’t eat meat or fish. If you are a meat eater you will love it. Lots of choice for you. We hired a car, as we always do, but we barely used it, as location of hotel is superb. Beach is across the road and walk to shopping, restaurant area is minutes away. I would highly recommend this hotel for your trip to torremolinos and would most definitely return.
