Crofton House Hotel

Hotel very old and run down all the plants scattered around inside were Dead . No food or drinks available we stayed a few days and our room was not serviced no clean towels no bed made chipped mugs in room window dirty chair leg broken very noisy at night doors slamming this hotel is more like a hostel You have been warned ☹️

Booked here from the 18th April till 21st April x lovely experience manger of hotel very welcoming and could not do enough for us x room was lovely and clean just what you want with tea and coffee etc x most amazing part for the price you get to use the indoor pool and the sauna and steam room ❤️ will definitely be using this place to stay again thank you x

Me and my partner had a great weekend there, and we always do. The staff are both friendly and accommodating, and we look forward to our next visit. the swimming pool is great, we both get up in the morning for a swim before we start our day, we would recommend Crofton house hotel to anyone.

Amazing place, loved room and staff helpful .alway there when u need help and smile alwaynice pool inside and out hot tub been there 4 time alway go back there make you feel so welcome .ever room i had been tidy clean everything i want go downstairs nice area you can sit in so happy with the place

Entry to room is by four digit passcode on electronic pads which are loud so you’re woken up all night by noise of people in and out their rooms . Place is unmanned at night ( that’s the reason you can only check in between 3-9) so other guests behave as they want to. Playing loud music in the communal area , drunken couples having arguments . Place is shabby and obviously hasn’t had any money or love put into it for years . Nowhere to hang your clothes . Cheap thin duvets. Exposed live extension leads . Shower makes a terrible noise which must wake the other guests up . The room was very clean however . Potentially beautiful building and gardens but all uncared for and unkempt . Maybe ok for young people for a night out in Torquay but definitely not for business traveller or a someone who wants peaceful stay .

What an awesome stay the chap at reception so helpful the room was just what I needed struggled getting in but they helped me get in when phoned, truly remarkable value for Torquay, when I come again will definitely rebook here - thank you so much 😊
