We had a warm and friendly welcome by Julia and James who were fantastic hosts, and who could not do enough for us. It was our grand daughter’s birthday while we were there and they helped her to celebrate and feel special, by decorating the breakfast table, and singing “happy birthday” to her. The rooms were immaculately clean with comfy beds, showers and fluffy towels. There were tea and coffee facilities and biscuits, which were replenished daily. The breakfast was first class and cooked to order. The heated swimming pool was an added bonus, as was the on site parking. Julia was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of information about places to visit. We will definitely be returning.

Julia and Jamie made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. Good breakfasts that are cooked to order. Has a lovely heated pool and ample parking spaces. We would certainly recommend this hotel for a stay in Torquay.

The Cimon is an immaculately clean well run hotel in a superb position in Torquay. Julia and Jamie and staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable hosts, nothing too much trouble. Our room was spacious with the most comfortable bed and fantastic view across Torbay. Breakfasts excellent and cooked to order. The outside area around the pool looked inviting although not used due to inclement weather. Would definitely return here. P & A

A good place to step off the treadmill for a few days. We were the only people using the pool, so it felt as though we were staying in a private villa. Our room was spotless and the bed was comfy. There was a good choice of food for breakfast. Lovely, helpful owners. Car parking was a bonus.

A warm friendly welcome as usual, great hosts looked after us well and made sure are room was ready early it was lovely and clean. my partner was happy when he got the salmon for breakfast. We loved the swimming pool and can't wait too come back next year. Thanks again

Fabulous break at The Cimon, rooms, breakfast, bar, heated swimming pool all amazing. The location is ideal for Torquay harbour and town, there is a bit of a climb up hill but the is also a bus which runs straight past. The quality of produce used for breakfast was exceptional and loved the poached eggs especially

We had an amazing week at The Cimon. Julia and Jamie were the perfect hosts, very friendly and welcoming. They were both very knowledgeable on the area with some great recommendations. The hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. We had a breathtaking room with a lovely high ceiling, balcony over looking the sea and we had great nights sleep due to the very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice. The garden/terrace and swimming pool - wow, the perfect place to relax in the sun. Thank you Julia and Jamie, we look forward to returning and seeing you again.

Very nice, small hotel. The room was good size, as was the en suite and shower, although the water force could be stronger. The proprietors are very nice and accommodating. Good breakfasts that are cooked to order, so no waste. Has a lovely heated pool, although not used. Setting is gorgeous. Not far, walking to the beach or town. On the whole, excellent.

Great to have on-site parking - we were greeted by very friendly hosts who informed us of the history of the area, the best restaurants for dinner etc and places to visit - room extremely clean and tidy, had a welcome chocolate on the pillow, fresh biscuits each day with the tea/coffee tray - room also cleaned and tidied daily - hot breakfast was ordered the night before, and everything else (cereals/yoghurts/pastries/juices etc) self-serve in the morning - fresh toast and tea/coffee brought to your table - we had the last remaining room in the hotel due to last minute booking described as the Compact Room - it fitted the description - but we thought it was roomy enough for us, the ensuite had a walk-in shower, and there was enough storage space - they have made good use of the space. As it was on the ground floor next to the front door we had quick and easy access to the car park and streets that led down to the town/beach - overall, despite the bad weather, we had a wonderful stay at The Cimon.
