What a wonderful place food 5 star spotless accommodation. Beautiful little touches lovely walks and such a pleasant host nothing to much trouble definitely a return here at some point. Chilled out break Lovely stay, Abi was a lovely host. Room were very clean with lovely little touches in the room. Breakfast was fabulous lots of choices. Abi goes above and beyond to make your stay a good one. Will be returning Jeanette and Sue

Wir (zwei Erwachsene / ein Kind) haben bei unserer Rundreise zwei Nächte bei Abi verbracht und waren voll begeistert. Wir haben uns total gut aufgehoben gefühlt - herzlich - zuvorkommen - hilfsbereit. Abi hatte uns für unsere Tagesausflüge immer noch super Ideen. Selbst in der Not hatte Sie uns mit Wäsche waschen unterstützt. Zum Haus: Bad: Klein, aber komplett sauber! Wer benötigt Platz zum tanzen im Bad? ;-) An der Straße - selbst da lagen für den Notfall sauber verpackte Ohrenstöpsel für geräuschempfindliche Menschen bereit. Haben außerdem weitaus schlimmeres erlebt (wie teilweise andere berichten). Essen war reichlich und wurde auf Info sofort nachgefüllt. The Belmont ist von unseren vielen Übernachtungen, eine unserer Favoriten!

This was a repeat visit having stayed here last year too, and I was welcomed back like a family member coming home for the holidays! It felt like a home from home. The location is great, its a 10-15 walk from the station, which if you don’t have too much luggage is lovely in nice weather, or just a few minutes in a taxi and it’s just a short walk from the seafront. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with high quality linen on the bed. The breakfast room at the front of the building is light and airy and has a great selection of juices and d cereals etc. Ground coffee and cafetières are provided for delicious coffee with breakfast and both mornings I opted for the full English. The owner Abi cooks breakfast and it’s highly recommended. The sausages are top quality and I love the attention to detail of the baked beans being served piping hot in a ramekin on the plate!

Een hele fijne ontvangst en lieve eigenaren. Behulpzaam met al je vragen en niets is ze te gek. Mooie verzorgde kamers en een super uitgebreid ontbijt. Al met al 2 heerlijke fantastische dagen gehad en als ik nog een keer Torquay wilt bezoeken zal ik zeker terugkomen .

The Belmont is a nice guesthouse, perfectly located between the train station and the beach. We had room 7 on the top floor (no lift), which had a lot of good facilities and was really neat and tidy. The negative things: the bed was too soft for our taste, the room was a bit warm and the shower/toilet is very small. But those thingd were more than compensated by the freshly cooked breakfast, the level of hygiene in and outside the room, the great atmospere and Abi, one of the owners, a super friendly lady who gave good practical tips for our stay. Overall: highly recommended!
