Stayed last week again in signature room absolutely lovely staff great chef marvelous as I have dietary problems he could not do enough for me all the staff greet you with a smile do not normally like hotels but woul not stay anywhere else this was our 3rd visit and have booked again for next year

A really lovely hotel restaurant with great food, stylish comfortable design, excellent live music and especially, fine dining. And don't forget the staff who were clearly well trained, and attentive. Having lived in Torquay for 6 years this is our first visit but it will not be our last and we are now recommending to friends. A really lovely night out.

What a superb hotel, staff cleanliness, pool, dining room , bedrooms and breakfast was excellent also parking they have a spa area but unfortunately did not use on this occasion; would definite recommend. A little pricy but worth it , absolutely super well worth a stay.

Being a local, I've had the pleasure of popping into the spa at the Belgrave Sands Hotel quite a bit, and honestly, it never disappoints! Location: You can't beat the views. Right on the cliff edge overlooking Torbay – it's absolutely stunning. And if you fancy a dip in the sea, the beach is just a short walk away. Rooms: Haven't stayed overnight myself, but friends rave about how comfy and spacious they are. Spa: This is the real gem. They have a fantastic range of treatments, and the therapists really know their stuff. I treated myself to a massage and facial the other day, and honestly, I felt like a new person afterwards. The pool and sauna are perfect for chilling out too. Food: Their restaurant is great – fresh, local food that tastes amazing. I've heard the breakfast buffet is something else! Service: Everyone's super friendly and helpful. Big shoutout to Chloe, who made joining the spa and answering my questions a breeze. Overall: If you're looking for a bit of pampering and relaxation, whether you're visiting or live nearby like me, I can't recommend the Belgrave Sands Spa enough. Beautiful views, top-notch facilities, and lovely staff – it's a real treat!

So I am reluctantly writing this review for fear of generating interest in "our" lovely apartment, however having booked already for next year I feel I can take the chance. So we stayed in the two bed apartment which is accessed by a private gate to the side of the hotel, this apartment is beautifully furnished in a modern style and benefits from a large outdoor patio area with dining table and sun lounges, the apartment runs parallel to the main road which can get busy but to be honest we loved sitting outside people watching, you benefit from having all the perks of staying in a luxury hotel with the added benefits of a self contained apartment. Staff are lovely, location of the hotel is perfect for a leisurely stroll into Torquay, cant wait to return.

We were in town for the Agatha Christie festival from the USA. Didn't know anything about the area so picked based on reviews here. We got in late because of a late train and were immediately welcomed warmly. She knew exactly who we were and helped us get to our room quick. Breakfast was delicious and I hadn’t realized the continental as well as cooked breakfast items were included. That was a great surprise! We dined in for afternoon tea, dinner and Sunday lunch and all were delicious. Staff helped us schedule taxis and answer questions. Our room looked over the bowling lawn and it was so quaint. The bus stop was right across the street and it was a short walk into the beach area. Would recommend this place to anyone.

This property deserves its high rating for a number of reasons. Great staff who know what customer service is all about. Fabulous food in the restaurant. Clean and well presented property and everything you could possibly need in your room. Small but clean and well appointed spa area. Perfect location for the town and beach. Very good value for money. If we were back on the area I would book this hotel without any hesitation.
