On arrival we were handed the room cards at reception and taken to our rooms. We were not given any information about the site or activities. When I met someone the next day I was told about local attractions, nothing about the hotel. Found out everything ourselves. The rooms are very basic and need a face lift. They are cleaned everyday and can not complain about the cleanliness. The location was good within a couple minutes walking distance of everything. So where do I start with the food. A good variety but the same everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner. The hygiene is not to a high standard and there are no descriptions on the foods with allergy warnings. The cleanliness could massively be improved. The food is luke warm and cold. You have one a la carte with your stay so we chose Italian. What ever you do is stay away. The food was cold and when we told the waiter he just said sorry and didn’t offer us a replacement. Very poor service. A lot of people left their meals. On the plus side the food at the snack bars is good nice and a good variety. The drinks are also good. There is a little Starbucks which is a good touch, The pools are an enjoyable experience and highly recommend the veranda. The beach is not much but offer some water sports at a high expense. We had no trouble getting sun beds at any part of the day but I imagine this is different in high season. The indoor spar is ok with the offer of a sauna and Turkish bath. The steam room was not working. The gym has all you need and was never busy. Both have good opening hours. There are different types of treatments available and a salon at cost. We chose not to use these even though we were offered half price. The small supermarket has all you need. We found the staff a mix bag. Some were very helpful and others rude. But that’s expected due to the amount. The location is great with lovely scenery. You can get a bus right outside the complex to Bodrum. It is only 20 mins away and costs 40 lira each way. The buses run frequently throughout the day late into the night. Bodrum is great with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. But you will have enough of people trying to drag you in. So to conclude we feel we have been miss sold the experience which we booked through Thomas Cook. They should tell the truth that it is a 3 star resort. We would not recommend and will not be returning. I’m done with Turkey.
