Brilant Antik Hotel

Had a fabulous time. The hotel is on a quiet side street but less than 5 minutes from the main street and city sights. The hotel is beautifully presented in a traditional style. Staff were warm and friendly. They even printed our boarding cards for us. Breakfast is buffet style with cold cuts, cheese, eggs, breads and pastrys. Would definitely stay here again.

L'hotel in ottima posizione vicino a tutte le principali attrazioni. Le camere sono spaziose e pulite , arredate in stile antico e rispecchiano le foto viste sul web, sono silenziose e dotate di climatizzazione. Colazione a buffet molto varia sia dolce che salata. L'ultimo giorno, al momento del check-out abbiamo chiesto al receptionist la cortesia di stamparci due carte di imbarco ma ci hanno risposto che non era possibile. Quando siamo arrivati ci ha accolto un addetto gentile e disponibile , il giorno seguente era presente un addetto che non sempre era presente e poco disponibile.

What a lovely small hotel close to all of the sites in Tirana. The staff was so welcoming & the rooms were spacious & special. The hotel was originally a residence & they have kept special touchs. The breakfast was plentiful & there are good restaurants within walking distance.

El hotel catalogado como de 4 estrellas, no dispone de ascensor, lo que es un inconveniente, sobre todo a la hora de ir con las maletas hasta la tercera planta que es donde nos tocó la habitación. La habitación es pequeña ( unos 15 m2 ), y la cama de 1,30m, grande para una persona, pero pequeña para dos personas. El mando de la TV no funcionaba, y era una incomodidad tener que encender y apagar la TV en el mismo aparato, teniendo que levantarse de la cama. El interruptor de la luz estaba detrás del cabecero de la cama, muy incómodo para encender y apagar. ¿Cómo es posible dar 4 estrellas a un hotel sin ascensor?. Para nosotros un engaño.

A fantastic hotel which I would highly recommend. The hotel is located in the centre of Tirana and near to all main sights. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the breakfast has a good range of things to start off your day. The staff were welcoming, friendly and really helpful from arrival through to checking out. Nothing but positive things to say about my stay and a huge thank you to the Brilant Antik team.

Last weekend, we stayed at the Brilant Antik Hotel in Tirana. And I have to say that choosing this hotel was a very good decision. Of course, we saw all the good reviews this hotel had, so we did have quite high expectations. And I am pleased to say that reality exceeded expectations. 1. Hotel Brilant Antik Hotel is situated in the heart of Tirana, within walking distance of all the main places to see in Tirana. You need about 10 minutes to go to Main Square, New Bazar, and Castle. Although in the centre of the town, the hotel itself stands about 200 metres from the main road, so you do not hear busy street noise. Also, as we have been told, this is the oldest hotel in Tirana. And they made sure that guests could feel it as soon as they passed the entrance doors, thanks to very tasteful decorations and ornaments. 2. Communication with the hotel From the moment we booked our stay until the last moment of it, there were never problems with fast and efficient communication with the hotel. We got replies on ***********, but mainly we stayed in contact with the hotel manager. As in many places in the world, the most efficient way of communicating was by using WhatsApp, and that is what we used as well, was extremely efficient and helpful, especially with organising a one-day tour for us. 3. Arrival and check-in We arrived at the airport about 1 p.m. by cab and were able to check in straight away. The whole process was smooth and non-problematic. We were able to use our card to pay for the room without any problems. Please remember that there will be a city tax added to your bill. It is a small amount and far less than what you have to pay in Italy, Germany, and France. The very polite receptionist gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We also meet in real life the manager Joli, everyone we met in the hotel could speak perfect English, which made our life much easier, as we do not speak Albanian at all. 4. Room. We stayed in the Deluxe Twin Room. And again, it exceeded our expectations. Two huge wooden and very stylish beds, a comfortable mattress, pillow, and duvet. What else would one need to have a good sleep? The room was very tastefully decorated in old Albanian style, with an interesting wooden ornament on the ceiling, wooden chairs, tables, bedside tables, some carpets, and, of course, a huge two-door wooden wardrobe. There was also a minibar and television with access to YouTube and some streaming services (not that we watched it). Room is also equipped with extremely efficient and surprisingly quiet air-con unit. The room’s bathroom was quite spacious and had everything one would expect. Everything was really clean, and you could feel freshness in the air. 5. Breakfast. For our own convenience with reservations, we made sure that we would have breakfast included. My wife booked this hotel for 5 nights. It's a 30 min taxi ride from the Airport. Ideally placed in the centre of Tirana, down a quiet cul-de-sac. Hotel spotlessly clean, our bedroom on the first floor was a good size, with a decent bathroom. Breakfast was continental style, but good. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Having spent a long time researching my hotel and reading the reviews I chose this 9.2 TripAdvisor rated hotel, on arrival I was told there was no room due to a bathroom fault and was directed next door to the Noshi hotel. So immediately i was disappointed but still paid my 3 night bill which was to be fair a very good rate. I came back the following morning and was allocated room 6 on 2nd floor, the room was large, tv didn't work, bed very comfy, no safe, there was a fridge, good working heat/air con, the bathroom was large with a good shower and toiletries and hairdryer are included. Personally I think the room and bathroom both need a refresh, but they were both very clean. Breakfast was disappointing and no hot choice as there was nothing left, I stayed downstairs in the breakfast room for 40 mins and it was never refreshed once. There was a minimal continental style spread, I was expecting more from one of the top hotels. In reception there are numerous books with useful information on Tirana. I didn't see much of the staff to be honest. Would I stay here again, yes but I would check room was available before travel. It is in a good location close to everything in the city centre.
