A great Place in the Wye Valley Great little hotel, with very nice rooms; mine overlooked the front of the hotel, onto the village of Tintern Parva. The owners are very friendly and gave great advice about walking trips in the area. Dinner is available, and a full bar. There's a very good breakfast menu, as well.

Lovely Inn in this Wye Valley hamlet We had a lovely two day stay at this quaint country inn in the Wye Valley. It's a short walk to the abbey and close to other beautiful walking paths. The included breakfast was delicious and hearty. A relaxing and peaceful weekend.

Nice one night stay with breakfast Nice hotel, lots of choice at breakfast inc full English (or rather Welsh!). Bin was full of previous guest’s rubbish but hoping that’s a one off.

Excellent hotel We loved our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food was excellent, especially the breakfast. We're already looking forward to going back.

Good base for exploring Area Stayed for one night whilst on our travels. Good value, friendly & helpful owners. Warm, Clean facilities & nice food.

Small hotel in lovely, quiet area Small hotel/pub in a beautiful, interesting area. Loads of parking, good cooked breakfast (with fruits & yoghurts, cereals etc as well). Friendly, pleasant owners & staff. It’s a very short drive or a longer walk to Tintern Village with its shops and magnificent ruined Abbey. Straight across the road by Parva Farmhouse through the churchyard are well marked and maintained footpaths along the banks of the River Wye - well worth exploring. Although the hotel is on the main road, it’s a surprisingly quiet road, so no noise problem there. My room was super clean with great quality bedding, well equipped with all the essentials, well decorated and light with several windows (as the hotel is the last building on that side of the road, this gave lovely, uninterrupted views of the surrounding hills.). A great stop over and would make a great base for exploring this beautiful & historic area.

Cracking hotel in the forest of dean A great place to stay in Tintern just a mile or so from the Abbet. Beautiful surroundings and nice rooms. Fantastic food in the evening and a breakfast to die for!

Welcoming, clean, comfy well run family hotel. Ideal base for visiting family and experiencing the local area. Breakfast selection is good, with local ingredients adding to the quality. Sorry to say we only had one evening meal due to our itinerary. But it was worth the wait, especially the Ginger Torte. If that is the caliber of the desserts it’s worth the 2 hour drive just for them. Definitely a place to put on your visit list.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel, which is clean as a new pin, offers delicious food and friendly, professional and welcoming staff. A real gem and can’t wait to return.

Location perfect for a pleasant stop to and from Bristol and Shrewsbury.
