We were really looking forward to this hotel. And while it’s in an amazing location and has a whole lot of faded charm, it fell short of expectations. It is very dated and not being cared for at all. Having said that the food is very good in the restaurant which it popular with people visiting the fort.

Het personeel was vriendelijk en het eten was goed (de selectie softdrinks was beperkt). De kamer ziet er mooi uit bij de eerste aanblik, maar is zeer toe aan een opknapbeurt. Vooral de badkamer was gedateerd en vies; er was ook geen warm water aanwezig. Al met al een prachtig gelegen hotel dat de hoge prijs echter niet volledig waard is vanwege het achterstallige onderhoud.

Excellent location, good value for money, the staff is very hospitable, food was great, especially anything Indian cuisine wise, the housekeeping aspect can be improved

The property is breathtaking. The staff are polite and well mannered. The food is one area of improvement. Fell ill after consuming it. Taste wasn't too great either. Worth the money.

Had booked the Maharaja Suite, and another suite, for two nights. The suite was very spacious, but primitive, dark, dingy, dusty and infested with mosquitoes. Left after one night. Did use mosquito-repellents but did not change clothes for the night, and did not shower in the morning, because did not want to offer more skin to the mosquitoes. Will never again stay at a 'heritage' property or at a property managed by a quasi-government organization in India.

The location is excellent. Rooms are just ok in the sense that expected a better one. Had dinner and the cooking was horrible. Not upto the mark at all. They just put the boiled ch k in gravy to make ch-kn masala. Biriyani seemed to have a shallow frying of hkn gravy ***** with jeera rice. . Breakfast experience was pretty good
