Westfield House Farm

Beautiful stay exactly what we needed and host was so attentive couldn't recommend more! Perfect location to check out local spots, not too far from alnwick or coast. Plenty cooking options, we used the italian in rothbury one night then cooked the other two :) Can't wait to book up again x

First of all I was pleasantly surprised to receive 4G coverage on my phone after expecting no signal. We also found the wood burning stove very efficient to the point we were so hot we needed to open the door and windows- packing loose summer clothing would have helped so that's my tip even for winter! There was snow on the Simonside Hills which made for a beautiful walk but appropriate footwear and clothing essential. The Curlew hut was well equipped with more than enough space for two. The breakfast pack was delicious and meant we didn't have to worry about transporting chilled items and the prosecco and birthday banner were lovely additions. Nearby Rothbury was lovely to explore on check in day with earlier check in available. The bathroom was very chilly but on the second day we left the bathroom door open as soon as the stove was lit and that helped. A very peaceful and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.

Great couple of nights We stayed 2 nights in the Curlew hut for my partners birthday. We got luck and had really clean crisp autumnal days, which gave amazing views of the dark skies. The hut had everything we needed for the break but much longer than a couple of nights might be a bit trying. Hot tub took about 2 hours to warm up and was still warm the next day. Great location close to Cragside which we highly recommend.

A very relaxing stay, great location which was very peaceful. Lots of extras including robes & slippers for the hot tub. Despite ground frost on our 2nd night the Shepard’s hut was very warm and cosy ! Excellent night time skies as near to zero light pollution !

A really wonderful B&B in a beautiful setting. Westfield House Farm is a delightful and spotlessly clean B&B in a beautiful setting. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was large and bright and had everything you would expect for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was sumptuous with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. We would recommend this B&B to anyone and have already done so to our friends since we returned.
