Wolfwood Guest Ranch

I've found my new 'happy place'. This last summer we spent a week at the Woolfwood Guest Ranch with family, and all I can say is wow. What a much needed soul restoring getaway. The setting is exceptional. It has to be experienced. From cozy nights around the firepit, to watching the mist roll over the lake at sunrise, this truly is a magical place. We stayed in Alder lodge, and it was just how I imagined. The mix of old embracing new, made this old settlers lodge both a unique AND comfortable stay. The decor was so well done. Every where we looked there was something new to discover. The kids loved it. Our favorite part was the lake a short walk from our cabin. After a hot day exploring the local waterfalls and hiking, coming 'home' for a refreshing dip was exactly the medicine our tired muscles needed. The food was delicious, with something for everyone. We got quite used to having breakfast delivered to our door each day, and sure missed that when we came home! Dinner was also delicious. The salmon melted in your mouth. The hosts are friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Their children were polite and loved to share what they knew about their land and their life. We loved getting to interact with their friendly pets as well. You really do end up feeling part of the family. Clearwater is such a gorgeous place to explore. Within a short drive of the ranch are world class waterfalls, excellent lakes for fishing and kayaking. We will definitely be returning to spend more time at the Wolfwood Guest Ranch as soon as we can! Beautiful setting and grounds with private lake where you can take out canoes. Close to nature and friendly dogs and a cat on site. Owners were lovely and the home cooked dinner should not be missed! A perfect stop off on the way through BC

Great getaway Lovely cabin away from everywhere. Shame about the rain

Lovely cabin, we were in the 2 bedroom it was huge very comfortable, the location is extremely quiet lovely grounds to walk around and explore. Lovely owners, great service both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Great for exploring Wells Gray Park, we wish we had booked 2 nights but I had our whole trip planned and could not change it. I would 100% recommend Wolf wood for getting away from it all.

We stayed here for three nights as part of our honeymoon travels around Canada. This ranch is an example of hospitality at its finest. Superb welcoming check in and wonderfully clean cabin lodge. We took advantage of a guided farm tour and also signed up to a cheese making class which was incredibly fun. We had breakfast delivered too our cabin each morning which was cooked beautifully and likewise two evening meals as well. High quality home cooking at its best. We stayed at Wolfwood Guest Ranch halfway through our holiday, just to relax. We are glad we chose this location to do that, as it is so peaceful! We had a super warm welcome. Our cabin was cosy and the breakfast brought by the hosts themselves was good. We will often think back to Ruby, Lady and Luna, your cute little dogs.
