Santa Beach Hotel

Zeer matig hotel, zeker geen 5 sterren waardig. Over de kamer niets te klagen, was in orde en schoon, bed heeft goede matras. Over de Spa en het wellness-gedeelte: in orde, de massagebehandeling was goed. Over de inrichting van het hotel: als je van kitsch houdt, vind je het prachtig. Russen zullen het waarschijnlijk ook erg mooi vinden, die houden daar van. Wij vonden het wat 'over the top', maar goed, ieder zijn smaak. Zeer slecht waren de beloofde voorzieningen: buitenzwembad gesloten, op het strand slechts enkele ligbedden, die je zelf moet verslepen naar de juiste plek, geen parasols. Terwijl het weer uitstekend was: volop zon en 27 graden. Men is bezig om e.e.a. op te ruimen ivm einde seizoen. Maar ons wel het volle pond laten betalen! Zeer slechte zaak! De meneer achter de receptie reageert niet op de klacht, vertelt een wazig verhaal over dat hij er ook niks aan kan doen en dat het einde seizoen is. Wij komen hier nooit weer!

É um hotel de praia, com uma decoração bastante cuidada, mas que poderá não agradar a muitas sensibilidades. Deixo ao critério de quem visitar. Os quartos são espaçosos, a cama confortável, mas tudo demonstra algum sinal da passagem do tempo. Tem um serviço de SPA bastante desorganizado (a minha esposa marcou um serviço de manicure, mas quando lá chegou, tinham-se esquecido da sua reserva). Tem acesso a uma praia privada bastante agradável e o pequeno almoço é excelente, tanto em quantidade, como em qualidade.

We're here for our 30th wedding anniversary for 14 nights. The hotel is lovely, we're used to staying in 5 star hotels and this hotel meets most of the requisites.Nice breakfast. Housekeeping are very attentive. I was told we'd get a double bed but it's two single beds and the balcony is very small. I asked if there was a bigger room but was told no. Shame. I'll review the hotel again at the end of our stay.

Needed a night in the area of Perea / Agia Triada to meet old friends, on our way to Halkidiki. Booked a room, in what I thought was Wellness Santa Hotel, which ended up to be Santa Beach Hotel. Arrived around 18:00, and got our family room #125. When walk-in in to the room, it was like walking in to a pizza oven, must have been close to +40C. The AC was immediately turned on, and we went out for a meal at a local taverna. When returning to Santa Beach Hotel around 22:00, the temperature in room #125 was still similar to earlier. It was obviously that the AC did not work properly. The receptionist had no other room to give us, nor any portable AC or even a portable fan to offer. Not even cold water was offered. Also the bathroom in #125 was smelling of sewage and mold, and when shower, water came in to the bedroom. For this we was charged 218€ plus 10€ tax, a total of 228€. No discount offered, nor given when I asked for it. A realy crap hotel experience. Never again. I’m sure Mr. Ivan Savvidis and his Belterra Investments Ltd can do better than this!

This hotel is great in many ways but does let itself down in others. It boasts adults only, but there are currently 6 children in and around the pool. The WiFi is poor, the hotel is dated, the sun beds are dated, the lifts are always busy, the cleaners could do better, people who leave the restaurant they fail to clean their plates away On the plus side, the food is good quality, the staff are friendly, the pool area is quiet, the hotel is very big so there is a lot of outdoor space, the prices are reasonable and the rooms are tasteful although dated. The gym was also well equipped but no air con. I would stay again, but not as a solo traveller as it’s quite detached. My friend was due to be with me, but his son has a nasty accident so I came alone. Regardless of the circumstances, they wanted €160 to change the room to a double from a twin.

Όλα τέλεια πραγματικά..εκτός από έναν τραγικό υπεύθυνο στο pool bar που φώναζε τα νεαρά παιδιά τους εργαζόμενους μέσα στο μπαρ.... Δεν αντέξαμε την συμπεριφορά του κ φύγαμε....ελπίζω σε ένα μήνα που θα ξανά έρθουμε να μην υπάρχει αυτος.....ο μάγκας..
