T who runs the place is the most helpful knowledgeable person you'll come across. Makes you feel so welcome, nothing is a problem. Great facilities, it's like a house, as in it's got all you might need. I have had a most enjoyable stay. I wish them some busyness because they deserve it. Just not when I come back to stay (from Christchurch) lol. All the best, if I'm ever in the area I'm staying here again!

Everything was okay but only the floor carpet in girls room I think they need to put on the timber floor it will be better than the carpet .and no parking for customer it’s very hard to get a parking

The hostel is a small, quiet one, with nice rooms, good bathrooms a well equipped kitchen and a nice common area. The managers are lovely guys and very helpful. If you like fishing, bring your rod. There are lots of places to catch some fish....

great place to stay, manager was very nice, place was clean and tidy, and central to everything i wanted to see, great water pressure in the shower and I can not wait to go back and do some fishing, and they have the best rates in the area

Stay was amazing..neat and clean, staff are very friendly, everything is near by the hostel, places are beautiful and also just 500 metres to beach and lake view, shops, restaurants and hotels, kfc, MacDonald etc

I was presently surprised when I checked into The Entrance Backpackers amongst the beautiful local beaches of the Central Coast. The interior is very stylish and looks like something out of House and Gardens. Beds are very comfortable with soft luxurious blankets and linen, with laundry, kitchen and bathroom facilities kept clean and tidy. It felt like I was staying at a top notch, grand hotel for the price of a hostel. I also found the staff to be very welcoming, helpful and lots of fun. Add to this all the local attractions and the amazing beaches, water sports, wildlife and parks and you have the best experience you can have on the Central Coast. This is by far, the best backpackers hostel that I have stayed in, due to the work and consideration put into it by the new management. I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone but you need to book well in advance, as it is usually booked out a lot of the time.
