La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas Plano - the Colony

Stayed two nights this hotel where one of my friends had recommended. clean, and kind staffs. Simple foods and coffee I liked. Will stay when I visit Dallas again.

Breakfast, bed comfort, shower, cleanliness, quietness of the room, help of staff was just great. The only issue, yet not enough to dock any rating points, was the sink water pressure was low yet the shower pressure was great. Overall completely satisfied.

A great hotel with nice staff, clean rooms, lovely amenities, and fabulous water pressure! Was a nice place to come back to after a day of business.

It was a wonderful experience! Cornell was the best person at the counter to deal with. Great customer service!

I didn’t enjoy my stay but maybe others may find it to be pleasing to them this is just my personal experience.

I woke up at 7:00 am to kids screaming and jumping in the next room. It was very loud- I’m not sure if the walls and floors are too thin or if those kids were just unusually loud. Also woke up with bug bites that still itch and will not go away. I usually only stay at the Hilton and this is why.

The La Quinta staff was amazing during our stay. The front desk team went out of their way to make sure our trip was enjoyable. Coordinating with 26 baseball players and coaches was a bit of a challenge, but they made it incredibly easy. Although we had a small issue with breakfast one morning, they went above and beyond to make it right for the rest of our stay. The rooms are on the smaller side but very clean. The bathrooms are also clean, and they provide Dove brand toiletries, so no worries about itching after using them. The internet was a bit spotty, but considering it's free, it's a minor issue. Overall, I rate my stay as excellent. Despite initial reservations about staying at a La Quinta property, I was pleasantly surprised and would gladly choose this one again.

The quality has gone way down for this brand of hotel. The tile is cracked in the bathroom, you could cut yourself on. The breakfasts was one of the worst I have had for this hotel. Will not be choosing La Quinta inn anymore. Have stayed at La Quinta Inn before (a few years back) and the quality was a lot better. It’s just very disappointing for the price.

Awesome! My weekend getaway is this spot!! Upon arrival, the location was great. The hotel was very clean. I am vegan so I skipped breakfast, but the breakfast area was very clean and plenty of food options.
