The Somerset on Grace Bay

Our stay was amazing (as always). The staff is phenomenal and the property is well maintained and top notch. We loved every moment and can’t wait to return to our home away from home. A very special thank you for making our son’s birthday so memorable.

Always a great place to come. Disappointed with location of the two bedroom we rented especially since there were only a few units occupied. The pool bar and restaurant were very nice as always but could Not charge to your room. Makes no sense. Beach guys were great.

This was our second trip to the Somerset in 10 months, and this time we brought our son, who loved it as much as we did. We absolutely love the resort, as well as the island. The resort is beautiful, and Grace Bay is possibly the nicest beach we've ever seen. The water was crystal clear, warm but not too warm, and the sand is white, soft, and not hot. The resort is very comfortable, and the staff treats you like family. We went parasailing, scuba diving, and ate at great restaurants. Somerset has become our home away from home, and we can't wait to go back!

The service and the size is just perfect. No having to reserve seats at the pool or the beach! Nadine, Joe and the wait staff are excellent and always there when you need anything. We will be back and don't usually go to somewhere twice! Thank you.

I usually do not write reviews but the Somerset exceeded our expectations. Our family of 6 (my husband, myself, and 4 kids) loved every minute of our stay. We had plenty of room in our two bedroom townhome and it was big, clean, and comfortable. The kids club was great for our little ones and all our kids loved going to the beach and the pool. We enjoyed taking the bikes out a few mornings and all the families and employees we met on property were so friendly and warm. None of us wanted to leave.

We just came back, installations very comfortable, staff in general are very nice except the breakfast crew, that seemed extremely unhappy to be working there, just one woman with a bun was very nice and accommodating, breakfast needs to either become a buffet or just have more options without having the extra payment if you want to change it up. The woman at the pools restaurant with yellow hair was extremely rude because I paid the total amount we owed to another guy at the restaurant, then rudely implied that I had not payed because I did not pay her specifically and that her chart said it had not been payed, she was mad and very out of place. Besides that we had the best time and were very happy with our stay, would recommend.

Once again The Somerset offered my family a luxurious week on Grace Bay! Stevonya and Tanya ensured our accommodations were stellar. Check in was handled by the gracious front desk staff of Leraud, Foster, Winston, Billy, Berry, Jansen, and Jan Carlos. They offered us a cool beverage of rum punch upon arrival, and whisked away to the most amazing room. We had a 1 bedroom villa in The Sterling House Building. This is our 4th trip to the Somerset and staying in this building. Gislaine and Gerumode kept our room spotless all week. They also provided a nightly “turndown” service of fresh towels, waters, and chocolates. It’s the little touches that this resort offers that makes us coming back. It checks all the boxes. The Sterling House is close to the pool, beach, and restaurants. The view is spectacular looking out to the pool and ocean. Collin and AJ were the “all stars”at the pool and Mr. Bigg makes delicious drinks throughout the warm days. The beach is my favorite place to spend time. You can count on Loxley and the beach staff to get your chairs and umbrellas ready daily. They too will offer you water and a surprise treat in the afternoon of sorbet. Guests can enjoy paddle boarding, kayaking, and sailing if they are so inclined, or simply relax, float or swim in the absolutely pristine blue water. I cannot say enough about how beautiful the property is and how wonderful the staff is. Ingrid at breakfast started our days off with delicious fruit and breads. She hustled around, but took time to learn our name and greeted us each day. There is a Tuesday night BBQ that is great. I suggest you give this event a try, especially if its your first visit. It’s great fun.! The Monday night “Manager’s Party” is also worth stopping in on. Enjoy some small appetizers and meet some new friends. The Somerset is a place I look forward to returning to and absolutely hate to leave. Take your family, friends, or just yourself if you are in need of a perfect escape. Beautiful property, everything you’d want for a water focused holiday. The staff is gracious and caring-able to create any experience you can imagine. Accessible to shopping and restaurants. Great for people that want a relaxing & entertaining vacation without the hordes of screaming kids nor posing, partying young adults.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Somerset! Our room was a two bedroom pool view and it was so spacious. As a family of 5, we had plenty of room for all of our belongings, and loved that we had a full kitchen and washer/dryer. And our room, as well as the rest of the resort, was so clean. The service from housekeeping, front desk, and pool/beach staff was fantastic. Plenty of beach chairs so we never had a problem getting chairs and the beach was the most beautiful beach ever. Our only complaint was the “free breakfast”, which only includes eggs, toast and breakfast/sausage. Other items, like pancakes, have an upcharge, which is annoying to me. It was monotonous to have the same breakfast everyday. However the service at breakfast was great! Aside from that, we will definitely come back to the Somerset!
