The room was very large - room for two beds and a couch but ours had a king bed and couch only. The room was nicely furnished with a kitchen area (apartment size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, sink, dishes, desk area, shelving) but that's where the niceness stopped. Design team needs to go back to the drawing board. Housekeeping needs to be retrained on the meaning of clean. The bathroom was small - so small that the door could not open fully because it hit the sink countertop. They could have made the bathroom larger and the sleeping area smaller and still had plenty of room. Two people cannot fix their hair at the same time in this bathroom. But the most obnoxious thing about this room was the lack of "clean" in it. (See pics.) The shower was a decent size but there was a stain (rust?) from one corner into the center. The metal tracks that hold the shower doors were disgusting. The corners on both sides had black mildew and rust on them. I took a piece of tissue and wiped it to see if it was just discoloration or if it would come off - some of it came right off without any effort. If housekeeping doesn't have time to actually CLEAN the bathroom they need to pull the room out of the lineup for the day and dedicate more time to it when they finish all the other rooms. This bathroom needed some Lysol, bleach and a scrub brush together with about 30 minutes and a housekeeper dedicated to doing a good job. Besides the bathroom, you would like to feel that the bed was made and that there are standards as to how it should look when you walk it. The "dust ruffle" should cover the box springs/mattress. There was elastic along the bottom to assure that happened but the mattress showed below that and it wasn't straight. Again, I know that housekeeping has much to accomplish in a short amount of time but in a hotel with the Hilton brand on it you expect uniformity in design and appearance from room to room. Another note - there were only two bath towels in this room that could sleep 4 using the couch bed. A call to the front desk for more got a response of "I've got a line of people checking in and I'll have to check with housekeeping." One person alone on the front desk at peak check-in time is unacceptable and there was no direct line to housekeeping. I might mention that using the Hilton app allowed us to check in before we arrived, pick our room and go straight to it when we arrived using the digital key in the app. Very thankful for that as the line definitely was long. This hotel needs some staff training. I would not advise anyone to stay here until CLEAN becomes their new tag line.
