Bishop's Lodge Auberge Resorts Collection

Great place, fabulous staff, beautiful and peaceful setting. This is our second stay. Sadly they are dumping their sewage into the Tesque creek and when we were there-we were stopped by protesters in cold 30 degree weather who explained what was going on. The whole community has signs up while driving in and out. Not great for a luxury resort. For that I must take a star off. They need to fix this before we can come back and make this right for the community. They clearly have to the money. It makes me wonder how they are approaching the rest of their communities around the globe.

I stayed at Bishop's Lodge for a senior year friends trip and it was everything I could have hoped for! Staff were all lovely and extremely helpful and the lodge itself was beautiful and relaxing. Favorite activities included hiking on the various trails on hotel property, the Silversmithing class, and a relaxing spa day complete with massages! The hotel provides complimentary transportation the 10 minutes into downtown Santa Fe, which is extremely convenient for exploring all of the culture the area has to offer.

I recently stayed at Bishop’s Lodge for a mother-daughter trip, and it was a perfect location! We stayed in the Grove Rooms, providing ample space and a deep bathtub. The concierge offered many activity recommendations; my favorite was the Silversmithing class. The hotel provides complimentary transportation into downtown Santa Fe, which we used throughout our stay, and it was nice to be able to go into town to experience the local nightlife/shop. But the hotel's food was equally enjoyable. We loved Skyfire's truffle bread and tortilla soup so much that we had dinner twice at Skyfire during our stay! Also, the unique cocktail should not be missed!

Our two bedroom casita was beautiful, spacious and clean! I typically cannot relax in hotels due to my germophobia. This casita was so clean. We were able to enjoy the two indoor fireplaces as well. The kitchen was well layed out. We especially enjoyed the nespresso and having a washer/dryer in the room.

Beautiful resort and outstanding customer service. My room was large and had charming southwest appointed decor. They provide premium bottled water, coffee maker with coffee, and local snacks for free. The grounds were breathtaking and the staff where there to accommodate your needs. I would have rated this resort higher if i knew before booking that it would be a four-story hilly hike to my guestroom. You can arrange someone to pick you up by golf cart, but I found it to be inconvenient because you had to wait to be picked up and the driver expected a tip for each time you wanted to go to and from your room. I also wasn't aware that pool and hot tub would be closed for renovation. At a minimum they should have offered a free dinner for two because you are paying for the amenities. The staff are amazing and are very pleasant to engage. They all seem so happy to be working there, and it shows. We had two minor facility issues, and the staff came up immediately to rectify them. I really appreciated that they provided us with late check out at 12PM instead of 11AM. The lodge did offer free yoga at 9:00 am but i didn't participate. The weather was windy and chilly and not conducive to outside activities My concerns are below: -I was disappointed because my hacienda was all the way up the hill, and it wasn't easily accessible. I was very winded by the time I walked from the parking lot to the room. I think there should be e-bikes or scooters offered so we are able to traverse to the room. They have magical lighting at night, and you can see the stars twinkle. However, the path to my room was not well lit and could be a hazard. If you have mobility issues, I would not recommend this resort. Many hills and stairs to traverse. -One night, turn down service came at 8:30 PM which to me was too late since I was already in the shower preparing to go to bed. -The pool and hot tub were out of service, and I was not told that when booking. I wouldn't have used the pool, but the hot tub would have been nice. Overall, I would happily book at another Auberge resort, but Bishop's Lodge wasn't for me. It's a matter of my personal preference

Dined at the bishops lodge resort with a local friend. Hadn't been to Santa Fe in a few months and had to try the newest dining experiences. Staff were welcoming food was descent and pricing as expected. Enjoyed lunch and was comfortable and quiet. Will try and be back on next visit to Santa Fe.
