The Rothschild Hotel - Tel Aviv's Finest

it's a stately hotel in the center of the city. however, we were told only after booking that the free onsite parking is limited to cars less than 1.8 meters wide, which terribly limits the cars that fit. i called and was told that don't worry, if the car doesn't fit, there is a lot across the street, one block away. my rental car didn't fit, and the closest lot was a 10-minute walk, which we needed to do late at night. and getting to the lot was a 20-minute adventure thru traffic, and a $9 charge for the 12 hours we parked there. to top it off, we were woken some time around 6:00 in the morning by a smoke alarm --- apparently set off by the kitchen burning some food. and the alarm went off numerous times that morning. so while the hotel itself is nice, with a courteous staff, the overall experience led to only a 2-STAR rating.

Hip, quiet boutique hotel in the heart of Tel Aviv This beautiful, small hotel is in the heart of Tel Aviv. An amazing location walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants and more. My room was spacious, super clean, and the bed and linens were comfortable and crisp. There was someone at the desk 24/7 ready to help with anything you needed. The coffee was good, the bar area was quiet and I totally recommend this adorable, hip hotel!
