Old hotel, 3 star tops

From the moment I walked out of my cab and into the lobby of this hotel I knew that I had made a mistake in booking this room. But unfortunately having booked it through “Trip.com” I knew I was screwed and no one would be responsible to hear my concerns. One thing I needed to understand was that a “Prepaid” hotel is done, hotel will get their money regardless of what concerns one might have about the conditions of their facility. To sum it up, this hotel is extremely old and dirty, you can smell the stink of decomposing carpets from the outside. This hotel has a major plumbing issue, so be very careful; he showers and toilets get flooded and the sewerage bubbles up creeps out of the toilets. The staff is one after next numb to the hotel guest complaints and they don’t care about anyone’s concern. This hotel needs to be shut down and I don’t understand why it’s still in operation. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

The location is very good There is no parking, and the parking close to hotel very expansive (360 for day and a half) The desk and the staff were very friendly and helpful The lift! Oh the lift! Terrible, extremely slow, and on Saturdays there is only 1. The rooms were ok, nothing special, looks a bit old. The pool was okay, bit crowded. To sum it up: I would choose a better place to stay, but the right price - i would go back (and that price is no more then 150$ per night)

I want to start by mentioning the staff members who were extremely kind, helpful, smiling to everyone even at a pick time: Dorit and Elit from the front desk, Nadav (security) and Alex the chef. Parking - best would be to park on Riding (30 nis per day) Advantages: - rooms are clean, 2 rooms suite was spacious - location is amazing! Walking distance from the hilton beach - food at breakfast was amazing - Nespresso coffee machine in the rooms (so you can make you own coffee on a Saturday) - staff was really kind and wanting to assist on every matter - great tv in each room - hotel design and arts are very special - roof top pool area is beautiful and the view is stunning Down sides: - No parking - the building is old and was never meant to be a hotel, it is felt all around (ac in corridors, some corners of the rooms) - jacuzzi maintenance in the room was poor - i didnt want to enter it, but there is a walk-in shower which was great. - The hotel has no beach it is a 7-10 min walk (we made it in August - not so bad) - pool is small for the amount of guests and it felt like it was added when it shouldn’t have - elevators are slow!!! In shabat they made 1 of them stop at each floor which made it all worse, once it closed on me with my kids inside - lots of people are smoking at the pool non smoking area. We alerted the staff 3 times but security never showed up All in all we had a great time, we spend most of our time at the beach and enjoyed the clean bed and shower and a delicious breakfast with an extremely nice staff.

Pool and hotel position excellent, but hotel falsely advertises, and is run down

Stay away. Really. I can’t say one single good thing about this place. From the service to the food ( I got food poisoning) , it’s like the worst place I have stayed it, ever. If you have no other options and you want to suffer in your vacations it might be a good choice, otherwise, really, stay away.

Don't waste your time or money here. The Leonardo Gordon Beach markets itself as a luxury hotel but is more like a Motel 6. Room smells moldy and is not clean. There is no actual hotel parking BUT, there is "private" parking on site but its a scam for tourists. They charge $75 USD per day, its cash only and wont give you a receipt. (They dont charge the locals half that much. I asked a local.) The AC doesn't work in most of the rooms, the maintenance guy is rude and dismissive. Had to call front desk twice, and only after waiting almost 2 hours did he show up. When he did show up, he was there for less than 2 min and acted like he was doing a favor. He opened the access panel, mold and dust came out on a cloud. He said, "Keep the door closed you will be fine." It's 76 in the room.

Hotel is terrible. The room was really small. Poor breakfast. Slow elevator. Old building. Staff was really nice and helped us check out early than planned.

The staff is excellent and the Israeli breakfast in the morning are really good. The building itself is not in great condition. It’s seriously needs renovation. There is a smell in the air that is really unpleasant. The hotel tries to cover it up with some very strong air fresheners, but it’s still unpleasant. Also, there is a pool there is a spa however the pool closed early we went there and the spa was not open.

Pool good. Rest disappointing.
