Stayed here for 2 months and would have definitely stayed on longer thanks to all the amazing people I met :) Booked a few nights then staff offered to move me into a long term weekly room which was perfect for me on a tighter budget. Kitchens and bathrooms are cleaned throughly daily. The common areas are perfect for socialising or just chilling out by yourself - especially the views from the deck!! I moved rooms a few times and each of the rooms were great and had enough space for everyone’s things (just BYO your own padlock!). All the staff were incredible and couldnt do enough whether it was the housekeeping, reception or night wardens - thanks for the epic memories Wanderlust ☺️.

The pillows are the fluffiest I’ve ever felt… the floors were spotless all over, something I’ve never seen before. This hostel was top notch clean, the guests long and short term were so friendly and we have the best memories together!! Social vibes but also business. Lastly the staff were superb, over the top, trying to make my stay great and accomodating for every little request of mine including putting my goodies in their safe. Special mention to staff member Olive who made my stay exceptional!!

Cute little place to stay, prime location, water view, buses, bars and restaurants. Lots of people friendly to interact. I used private room with ensuite for me and my partner. We shared kitchens which was fine, allowing us to interact with the hostel guest and bathrooms privately in our room. Perfect for some time away and for the stop in tauranga during our NZ travels. Pretty clean and tidy, the staff was helpful when i stopped them to ask few questions. I would love to visit again.

The view, the staff, the people... this backpackers is everything you want! The staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable, even helped me find work in the kiwifruit farms. I loved hanging out on the balcony meeting new friends from all over the world, watching the sun go down on the harbour. Totally recommend and hope to return!

Great vibe and feel to hostel. Check in process easy with friendly staff. Fully functioning free WiFi. Stayed in a standard double which had a slight small bed but the room had everything you needed. Spacious shower in the en suite. Lovely large kitchen with fully functioning gas rings! Good selection of kitchen equipment, all in working order. Lovely hang out space with waterfront view and selection of games. Would highly recommend staying while in Tauranga

Good location, very helpful and friendly reception staff. Room small and basic but fine for a night or two and at that price point. Unfortunately, during the two nights I stayed music was very loud and vibrating in the room until the very early hours of the morning. This resulted in two nights of no real sleep impacting my overall experience dramatically. Shame as it has positives.
