Hotel Sophia by Tartuhotels

Väga hea asukohaga hotell. Ilus, puhas. Saun toas andis kõvasti juurde. Hommikusöök alati stabiilselt hea ja nàlga ei jäänud. Toite oli ka piisavalt erinevaid, et kõik saaks ilusti kõhtu midagi.

The hotel is located next to a really big shopping mall (you can actually walk from the hotel to the mall inside the building) on the outskirts of Tartu. There are plenty of shops nearby but otherwise not so much to see in the vicinity. The view from the room is equally dull. The city centre is about 5-10 minutes drive away. Parking is free at the front of the hotel. The hotel itself seems to be quite new or at least spotlessly clean (the rooms, too). The staff was really friendly. The family room was actually two interconnected rooms so we had two bathrooms which was really nice. There was not a single spoon in our (family) room so we had to grab one from the downstairs. However, the biggest issues in our room was wifi (really slow if working at all) and tv (really complicated to use, we couldn't adjust volume in the another room). Breakfast was ok but nothing spectacular. I can recommend this hotel only if you go by car but with car it's a good and easy option.

Very nice hotel A cozy hotel next to a large shopping center, Lõunakeskus. The Finnish sauna in the room was surprisingly good. There were plenty of options for breakfast and everything was very tasty.
