The Riad - Adults Only

The hotel rooms were beautiful and very impressive on first impression. Once that has been absorbed, we got the impression that the stylish look of the rooms are at the compromise of the functionality. For example, nowhere to hang your clothes, no comfortable sitting area, windows that are drafty, etc. Our sleep was disturbed throughout the night from the canopies outside constantly rattling (maybe these could be retracted for the comfort of future guests?). Our biggest gripe though was that we booked a room that included breakfast, and received confirmation to say so, but was told that breakfast would not be served as they are closed on Sunday (we stayed Saturday night). We had to go out and find breakfast, and pay for this in addition, when we specifically booked this hotel due to the inclusion of a breakfast. It was our friend's birthday on the Sunday, and she was looking forward to a 'birthday breakfast'. We expressed our disappointment with this on WhatsApp due to no staff being there to challenge about this, and this message has been read but has not been replied to. Altogether, very poor customer service, and we would not stay here again.

We have stayed in at least a dozen hotels over the past 4 weeks and this was our favorite. Rafael at the front desk went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel is small and unique. Our room was spacious and well decorated and very comfortable. The massages were excellent. And the food at breakfast was great. We have only positive things to say about the Riad. It was great.

Demasiados animales .adoro a mi perro pero fui a un hotel adults o lu para estar tranquilo y me molestó el bullicio de perros. Niños no y perros si?me esperaba algo distinto. Hay perros maleducados igual que niños La location del desayuno no me gustó. No repetiría.

Un piccolo hotel in pieno centro ricco di atmosfera. La musica, l'acqua che scorre, l'arredo tipico marocchino ..appena entri la mente si svuota e ti rilassi in un attimo! La nostra camera, al piano terra, era bellissima e spaziosa, bagno a vista e muro in pietra che creava anche lì un'atmosfera davvero particolare. Menzione particolare allo staff che è stato gentilissimo. La colazione si fa in una piccola terrazza ed è vero che è semplice ma secondo me in linea con lo stile dell'hotel. Nel pomeriggio si può fare anche una piccola merenda con tè e caffè, frutta secca e un dolce. C'è anche un hammam (a pagamento) che però noi non abbiamo provato.

the Riad is a nicely decorated small inn in Tarifa....some of the staff are much easier to deal with than others....we rented a small room on the first floor....very quiet, except for people who live in the apartment above that room...the room is like sleeping in a Moroccan designed cave...not nearly enough lightning to see into your suitcase....the small window into the courtyard brings some light, if it's sunny...the room is quite small...the bathtub is at the foot of the bed...no curtain or glass door....water goes everywhere.. the sink is also in the main room...toilet cubicle was cleanish, but smelled like sewerage...there was a small courtyard to sit in which was nice, but water from plants all over the floor....first morning I did not see it and took a bad fall...2 days later, again another big puddle....the rooftop was CLOSED!!!! no kettle in room or a coffee and tea station for guests....I'm very surprised that it is ranked #1.....there is really no customer service at all...no one is there after 7pm and no one returns until 9am....room was cleanish....there was a large shelf next to stonewall that was constantly dirty...parking was 5 minutes away, but be prepared to lug it up a steep hill ...

Un tuffo negli ambienti marocchini tipici dei riad, la struttura è situata in un vicolo a ridosso della via principale, molto curata sia nelle parti comuni che nelle camere. Il profumo, il rumore dell’acqua, la musica, tutto invita al relax. Da migliorare la colazione servita in terrazza che è un po’ “essenziale”, per il resto tutto positivo, dall’accoglienza alla cittadina che è davvero incantevole.
