Dar Lala Zhour

Wij verbleven met ons gezin 3 nachten in Dar Lala Zhour bij Icham en zijn familie. Een fantastische ervaring met 2 dagen pottenbakken op de oude traditionele manier in het nabij gelegen dorpje Ain Bouchrik. We begonnen met het verzamelen van het basis materiaal (klei) tot en met afbakken van het keramisch werk in een open vuur-oven. Naast kennis over deze oude techniek, kregen we ook zicht op de huidige manier van leven van de mensen in dit dorp. Icham nam ons ook mee op een wandeltocht in de directe omgeving. Deze is fabelachtig mooi met vele vergezichten over de uitlopers van het rifgebergte en het nabijgelegen meer. Hij kent deze als geen ander omdat hij hier is opgegroeid. Het eten was heel erg lekker en het uitzicht vanaf zijn dakterras is ongelooflijk mooi. Icham heeft een aanstekelijke positieve energie en warme persoonlijkheid. Bedankt Icham, we hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad!

Notre coup de coeur dans le Nord du Maroc : une superbe étape dans ce village de montagne chez Hicham, Hayat et Kenza ! Une famille très accueillante, une charmante maison et un excellent repas avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes du rif !! Je recommande+++

We had the most wonderful and welcoming experience with Hicham and his family at Dar Lala Zhour - especially the homemade food, fresh Morrocan mint tea and breakfasts on the terrace made this stay unforgettable. Hicham is a very experienced host and guide to the region and made us experience an outstanding travel back in time. We felt very well accompanied and taken care of by Hicham, be it during the transfer from and to Fez, the local market visit or the live Arabic translation during the pottery sessions in Aïn Bouchrik. If you want to experience an authentic time, connecting with people and nature we highly recommend this unique family homestay.

Very beautiful house sit on the magnificent mountain. It’s located in a small village, everyone is so friendly! I had a great time staying there. Hicham was a great guide and host, very knowledgeable and passionate about his region, which he aims to improve and bring more diverse income for the local people. You will see lots donkeys, where you can also go for a hike. life and time slows down there. I spent a week there and learning pottery from Hicham’s family. They hosted me with amazing meals everyday, introduce me to their life. I would highly recommend for anyone seeks a different way of travelling to visit this place and spent some time in that beautiful region.

On a reçu un super accueil même en arrivant à l'improviste à 19h30 en moto. La chambre au top repas et petit déjeuner super bon et en bonne quantitée, rien à dire, on a passer un super moment. Ils parlent très bien français. Merci à eux pour tout.
