"Our stay at Hotel Villa Angela was simply perfect. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team for their extreme kindness and attention throughout our stay. We were truly pampered — a hospitality that made all the difference. The room was spectacular: comfortable, beautifully decorated, with a delightful jacuzzi and a balcony with a breathtaking view. We were even lucky enough to witness an eruption of Etna in a quiet dawn… a spectacle of nature that we will never forget. The breakfast is very rich and well thought out, with various Sicilian specialties, both sweet and savory. The cassata cake we ate on the first day was, without exaggeration, divine. On our last night, we decided to have dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was an excellent choice: the dishes were very well prepared and paired with a light and delicious rosé wine. A perfect night to end our stay. The hotel also offers an excellent transfer service to the historic center of Taormina, which allowed us to easily alternate between walking tours and moments of rest at the hotel. Top marks, with honors. We're already making plans to come back!"

"Tämä oli toinen vierailuni tässä hotellissa, viimeisin oli vuonna 2022. Voin vain sanoa, miten suuri ero on ollut kahdessa vuodessa. Hotelli oli aivan sama, mutta suurin osa henkilökunnasta oli vaihtunut, eikä parempaan suuntaan, vaikka osa henkilökunnasta oli mukavia ja ystävällisiä, useammat olivat joko välinpitämättömiä tai töykeitä. Erityisesti baarin henkilökunta oli töykeää. Join baarissa vain kahdesti, koska he ovat niin huonoja. Kysyin Messinaan menevästä bussista, ja minulle kerrottiin, että voisin ottaa yhden vain Taorminan linja-autoasemalta, mutta huomasin, että bussi pysähtyi hotellin ulkopuolella. Kysyin vastaanotosta, ja hän vain kohautti olkapäitään ja nauroi. Ruoka ravintolassa oli todella huonoa ja valinnanvaraa oli vähän, jotkut pasta-annokset olivat valtavia, kun taas toiset ruoka-annokset olivat melko pieniä. "There was no sunshine on the first day, so I didn’t feel anything. It was not until the sun came out on the second day that I realized the beauty of the room. The hotel service is good, breakfast is ordered and the quality is good. But dinner must be booked in advance, otherwise you won’t be able to eat it. The drinks bar is free but there is no coffee machine. The bathroom facilities and size are good 👍 and it is comfortable to use. If you are an elderly or disabled person, please note that the hotel is in the old town and cars cannot enter. You have to climb a high flight of stairs to get to the hotel. The staff will help you carry your luggage, so don't worry."

"Overall, this hotel is excellent, located right in town, just a 2-minute walk from Taormina's main street. There's a fantastic park right next to the hotel overlooking Taormina's stunning coastline, and the park itself is amazing! However, there was a slight hiccup with the hotel: the room type we booked through Ctrip didn't match the actual room we arrived in. We had to upgrade to a suite ourselves, which was more expensive, but the room was instantly a much better experience! I also want to commend Ctrip; despite the discrepancy, the hotel kindly refunded part of the price difference after their efforts. Kudos to Ctrip for their excellent after-sales service! In short, I highly recommend this hotel in Taormina. By the way, this hotel offers valet parking, but it costs €30 per night!"

"Firstly, I cannot sufficiently elucidate the importance and impact of the hotel's greatest asset: the staff and their unending passion for service. When they ask if everything is ok, it is not rehearsed or fake and rings of true care. Marco the sommelier in the restaurant and, quite frankly everyone we engaged with at the restaurant on the dinner of the 4th of May, was a consummate professional with true pride in what the team could offer. The recommendations we received were on the mark. Dinner was a masterclass in delivering faultlessness execution, both in service and culinary delights. The food struck a fine balance of flavours, bringing tradition and the best of local produce to a modern reality, all framed by the unique panorama. The hotel overall could not be better located, it is brilliantly kept, extremely clean with an unerring attention to detail. I could not find fault, and if you read my previous reviews of similar caliber hotels.... I am not shy at voicing potential improvements. The room (junior suite) was spacious, well appointed, with a delightful balcony over the pool, enabling optimal enjoyment of the signature view. Housekeeping was particularly to be lauded. Luxury is not a formula, it is provided by true service, care, attention to detail and a touch of the intangible "something special". Grand Hotel Timeo and their staff delivers in spades. My humble congratulations."
