Riad La Tangerina

A very pleasant riad in the seaward edge of the kasbah at the top of the town. Geat sea views from the terrace, where a very adequate breakfast is served in warm weather. Our transport from the airport, and later to the station, was arranged by the riad and worked well. The evening we arrived we dined at the riad by arrangement and had a very nice meal of chicken and olive tagine. Our room (I think no 4) was oddly designed, an open-plan mini-duplex with a narrow downstairs living and bathroom part and an upstairs twin bedroom, connected by an open-tread staircase that was a death-trap. Serious care needed going to the loo in the night. Lesser downsides of the accommodation: no credit cards accepted; and no alcohol available.

Beautifully decorated riad on the edge of the Medina and ocean. Beautiful old time radios playing Jazz in each room, gorgeous mosaic tile work, and a stunning rooftop deck for lounging, viewing, and breakfasting. We had No. 9, a little small, but charming.
