Rija Old Town Hotel

This is the hotel you want to be staying when visiting Tallinn. It’s located right at the Tallinn’s old town. Services and breakfast were excellent during my 2 days stay in late August. No need to look for other hotels

Small room with an amazing view of St Olav church. Location is near a bus stop, but a little challenging with wheeled bags over cobble stones. Delicious breakfast with many choices.

Wow!!! What an absolutely fantastic hotel this is. Checked in and out online and that was easy. I found all the staff very friendly, professional, accommodating and wanting to help when I asked. I checked in and paid my money, got my receipt and told where my room was. I was told where I went to have breakfast and what time breakfast was. I was given my key card to my room and the Receptionist explained about the WiFi which works brilliantly for a hotel. The room was the right size for one person but may be a bit cramped if you stayed here as a couple. The shower was a small cubicle but was adequate for one person. The bed was very comfortable and good night's sleeps were had. It was warm at night so had my window open with minimal noise. The only thing I can think of to improve the experience would be to have leaflets on the attractions. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to everyone. It is central to all the attractions and two minutes walk from bus and tram stops. Also it's a 10 minute walk from the port.

The room we stayed at was pretty small but we did not expect anything special. Everything was clean. The bed was comfortable and big. The staff was nice and clear and also the breakfast was fullfilling. Things that did not meet our expectations were the bathroom where showering would spray water all over the bathroom and out of the door also, hence requiring some extra drying from us so our feet wouldn’t get wet and also to protect the room. Some kind of curtain or another glass door for the shower would be necessary. Also there seemed to be no ac or air circulation system on. Outside temperature was below 20 celcius and the radiator did not seem to be on. Still when we entered the room the air seemed very ”heavy” and somewhat moist. Keeping the window open helped with the matter.

Stayed here 2 nights in an economy twin room. Liked: + Convenient location in a quiet corner of the historical centre of Tallinn, very close to the tram stop "Linnahall" (Tram 2 - change to Tram 4: an easy and quick way to go to the airport) + Good beds and pillows + A mini-bar in the room, heated floor in the bathroom + Historical feel of the building + Porridge for breakfast - healthy! + Good value for money What could be better: - It's not a new hotel, so you feel it. The toilet seat is plastic. - Extra blankets in the room would be appreciated: it wasn't very warm at night. - Some strange options for breakfast: there's herring, potato salad but croissants and pastry seem to be in very short supply: we couldn't get any in 2 days. General impression: positive, if you're on a budget, can be recommended.

Facilmente raggiungibile a piedi dal molo dei traghetti, sulle mura della città vecchia ad un passo dalla fermata di bus e tram per ogni destinazione, adattato in due edifici storici contigui, design glamour ma non troppo, sembra una soluzione ottimale specie per chi opta per una rapida visita della città. La stanza 102, singola, comodissima ma con le finestre che affacciano sulla prospiciente tangenziale. Fortuna che la notte di inverno non passa anima viva... Personale molto disponibile, pulizia eccellente, colazione ricca e varia. Servizio deposito bagagli. Garanzia di ottima soddisfazione generale
