Basecamp Masai Mara

It's an oasis here. The camp is perfectly embedded in nature without destroying it (we had a tree in our tent growing through our bathroom, awesome!). Everything is clean and very well organized. The staff is so friendly! We felt right at home! The camp is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful Masai Mara. We'll be back, and we'll definitely stay at this beautiful camp again. Asante!

What a wonderful experience I had at Bascamp Masai Mara! A serene setting surrounded by wildlife with a relaxing atmosphere. The accommodation was excellent - very comfortable - and the food was delicious. The staff were so helpful and could not do enough to help you. I had great service from Ben throughout my stay. My guide for the safaris was John who was just brilliant. His knowledge of where to find wildlife, spotting it and his knowledge of the wildlife was exemplary. He also was great at trying to find wildlife whilst not surrounded by jeeps. He was always cheerful and helpful and great at helping to sort experiences - he sorted my hot-air balloon safari without me having to do anything. Also, his driving over the tricky terrain - including through rivers and up and down muddy banks was amazing - ensured we stayed safe and comfortable whilst getting us access to as much as possible. One of the best (if not the beat) guides there is. Highly recommend a visit to Basecamp Masai Mara.

Wonderful experience. Quality of all the meals was excellent. Staff was great. Water in the bathroom didn’t get very hot, so taking a shower when it was cooler outside was a challenge. But overall our stay was excellent.
