Violations will result in fines starting at $5,000 per Lake Tahoe short-term rental regulations. - Chains or a 4x4 vehicle will be required, depending on the weather. Please check road conditions in the winter months to see if they are needed. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed.
