Motel 6 Tacoma, WA - South

We enjoy motel.6 because check in anf check out is so.simple and.easy. we just go in and show them our receipt and then get.our key and go about.our business. The rooms are.always.clean and the staff are always friendly and knowledgable.and helpful. The.only thing that is frustrsting.is.the location. Its not.the best.or.safestest neighborhood.

People were helpful. Wasn't bothered at all. It was a peaceful couple days

Horrible experience. I booked a non-smoking room. The room I had, smelled cigarette and ****. The smell was terrible. The bathroom sink was clogged. There were red stains on the bathroom sink and all over the bath and some on the bed sheets. This was the filthiest room I ever had. I did not spend the night in there; too gross. I booked another room in another hotel. It was too disgusting to stay. The motel in general looks neglected. I couldn't imagine the state of the other rooms.

It is pretty standard at first. However, ants became a problem and I asked to switch rooms. I was told that they were completely out of rooms. However, when I called to ask if they had any rooms available outside of the office they had plenty of rooms. I dealt with ants the entire time and it was really gross. I also had an issue with the toilet overflowing and they never even cleaned the floor. It was absolutely gross to have ants crawl on me at night.

This place flat out took full advantage of my family by price gouging us for over 3.5x the standard rate due to lack of hotel availability in the area! It's craziness to price a double bed room for $370 USD a night. The room was basic and the beds were very uncomfortable. This place deserves to any negative economic karma for its aggressive pricing tactics.

I would like someone to explain to me when a PRE PAID reservation is NOT a reservation. I Had one reservation. One confirmation number. One payment. Two rooms Two nights. They tried to claim I had two reservations. One reservation. One confirmation number. Two rooms. Because my plans changed we didn't use the second room the first night, but still needed it the second night of our Pre Paid reservation. Because we didn't use the room they gave it away. They will try and say they told me this. That's a LIE. 2 points. If you told me that night do you not think that I would've done whatever was necessary to not allow that to happen ?? Second. I offered to give you my unused room the first night, because you were busy and I was trying to be nice . . and was told if I did that I would lose my reservation and not get it back. So I said never mind. So say again how you told me ??? I had a PRE PAID reservation and you did not honor that. Oh and yes like most of the reviews here say . . cigarette burns on the tub, drawers that don't close, crooked TV pillows that don't match ancient mattresses, poor shape and in a bad area.

I wasn't there 5 minutes and bed bugs came crawling out of everywhere! I caught two and took them to the office showed her demanded my money back and the chic behind the counter proceeded to tell me I have a DNR from a year prior which was not true! The only connection I had to that place was when my friend came from Florida and she booked the room not me , then she tells me the manager will be in at 6:00 so me and my friend wait 1 1/2 hrs just to have a different gal say I am not to be in the property and gonna call cops we'll come to find out I was not in any DNR list and I just wanted my money back because of the bed bugs now I have to wait five days *** they wouldn't give me the managers number I am pissed I worked for motel 6 in Fife over 20+ years ago and we never treated our customers so rudely ! These gals need to be fired !

Loads of bedbugs and they charged me a smoking fee in a smoking room. Place is covered in garbage, rooms aren't clean. Avoid at all costs! I had to move twice in the middle of the night because of their mistakes and they have the audacity to not only offer some kind of compensation for giving me a room with an infestation, but to charge me a smoking fee in a smoking room. DO NOT STAY HERE
