"Excellent location with a sea view in a quiet neighbourhood close to the beach, taxi boats and bus station. Staff were extremely helpful throughtout our stay with very good advice on where to go on the island. The owner picked us from the port upon arrival and dropped when we left. The room were spacious and spotless and the breakfast was delicious.We highly recommend this small family hotel to anyone who visits the idylic island of Symi."

The Old Markets

"Our first trip to Greece will be the first of many! The Old Markets is a beautiful environment and totally relaxing. 5 mins walk down the steps to the harbour (with the water taxis to the extraordinary beaches and the fantastic Poseidon round-the-island boat tour) and 15 minutes to the top of Kali Strata and restaurants at the top of the hill (The Secret Garden and Kali Strata). It’s a VERY short transfer from the Sebeco ferry terminal and Daniel met us on arrival and made sure our bags were spirited to our room. The staff are absolutely welcoming and put you at your ease most gracefully. To be ultra-critical, a little more variety at Breakfast would enhance longer stays but what is on offer is lovely (especially the Symi Omlette). Don’t expect champagne as it says on the website. However, we had a 10 days stay, full of superlatives, and would strongly encourage anyone to stay. Thank you Carlo and Team. We will be back! "

Ihmiset, joita meillä on, ovat liian hyvät ja ystävälliset ja hyvin ymmärrettävä huone on melko iso ja mukava kaksi ihmistä liian puhdas ja on kaikki tarvittava vesi tarvitset jääkaapissa, Kahvia-tee aamulla, jopa minikeittiö, jos haluat tehdä jotain, hyvin lähellä keskustaa kirjaimellisesti 3 minuutin kävely on paras pari joka haluaa viettää loma tai jopa viikonloppu laskee hyvin paljon!"

"A wonderful little hotel in a spectacular bay. This is the real thing. Exceptional attention to detail by the manager supported by outstanding staff. The bar man never stopped smiling, the waitress in the restaurant could not have been more Greek or accommodating and the receptionist Nothing is too much trouble. Great food, clean and comfortable within an amazing setting."

"too bad for the room that is a bit small, the bathroom has no windows, the only window that this place had was next to the wall of the bed but unfortunately we could not even open it because all the branches of the tree located outside the house entered, for the rest the services were good and nothing was missing. also from the photos we thought we had the room with the balcony that was on the floor above ours. I do not recommend it for more than a night"
