3 Star hotel -but staff helpful. Reasonable value.
Typically as expected inline with similar 3* hotels in Sylhet Town. Room with double bed was fine clean and reasonable but no natural light as windows blocked by wall/adjacent building. Bathroom needs an upgrade as poor quality. Be sure to insist on room with town view.
Dining facilities fine and staff helpful over generous buffet breakfast (included)
Roof terrace/pool disappointing and urgently needs an upgrade to look smart and attractive.
Housekeeping staff very helpful and courteous.
Overall a fair price for a reasonable stay.
Would consider a future stay here.

I was with a medical team working in Sylhet for 10 days. The hotel staff, lobby, and dining area exceeded expectations. My small room was adequate. The bathroom did not meet Western standards - slippery shower/tub and no grab bar, and an electrical outlet next to shower, a potential hazard, I needed my long extension cord for my bedside. These inconveniences were offset by the cheerful and helpful staff. The well lit dining room was clean and attractive. One may choose buffet style food or order from the menu. The food was freshly prepared, albeit most was too spicy for our team. If I were to return to Sylhet I would stay at the Rose Pacific. It was short walking distance to several good restaurants. It is best to walk around in groups for safety. I did not see any tourists during our stay.

We had a pleasant stay. Location is great. The staff / service was very good. Breakfast, dinner, room service was great. This is more on level with Holiday Inn. On our last day after checking out, we were called at our room and asked by the man on the desk to pay tips to the executive team, he stated this twice. I feel this was only because I am female and from the UK and visiting family in Bangladesh. We had planned on giving small gifts to the team but I found this unprofessional and unacceptable, it disappointed us on our last day in Bangladesh.

Good Customer Service: Had to check out from Hotel Noorjahan Grand one day earlier due to some issues we had. Hotel Star Pacific was very welcoming in greeting us and accommodated all our needs (late checkout, laundry Service). Great Selection of Buffet: The buffet had a great selection of food starting from croissants to Bengali breakfast items. Rare tea bags like Arjun Tea and Amloki Tea were available as well. Had a 10/10 buffet experience Clean Rooms: Stayed in Crystal Couple rooms. These were the only rooms they had available as we booked just the night before after a mishap in the previous hotel. The rooms had Prayer mats, Sandals, Toiletries, and a Hair dryer along with other amenities. Casa Blanca Restaurant: The Signature Restaurant is called Casa Blanca restaurant where we had the option to choose from Continental, Thai, and many other cuisines.

I am very excited to come to Hotel Star Pacific Sylhet because the pleasant atmosphere and hospitality of the hotel was memorable, especially the room we stayed in, Room 414.415.416,all the bathroom was very clean and quite big, not to mention the top swimming pool it was charming and neat and clean my family also very happy to stay there.. Spacialy thanks to The housekeeping department made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable stay in Sylhet.

In conclusion, my stay at Star Pacific Hotel was exceptional. The exceptional service especially housekeeping department made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a remarkable stay in Sylhet. I can't wait to return to Star Pacific Sylhet Hotel on my next visit!

I stayed at this hotel with my football team for 1 week in feb 2023. Staff are really nice and helpful, breakfast has a good variety and there is a pool and gym upstairs. I would give it 5 stars but I’m reducing it to 3- simply because the internet in awful. In fact, there is no internet. They keep asking you to try connecting when in fact, they know the truth , the internet doesn’t work. So if you’re trying to connect with friends and family back home, you’re gonna find it very difficult. Location is great, next to the Dorgah and very central. You’ll need to take a CNG most places. Overall, hotel is value for money. If you don’t need the internet. You’ll love it here.

Our stay here was amazing, the service was brilliant and the location of the hotel is perfect. This hotel has a rooftop swimming pool which was fantastic. The hospitality and food was great, there were plenty of options to choose from. The management and staff were all super. We was able to have a tour of the hotel and they have a ballroom, restaurant and cafe which we was not expecting. I would like to thank Masum the manager of the hotel as he made our stay here wonderful that we came back to stay here more than once while in Sylhet. I would recommend my friends and families to stay here whenever they are in Sylhet.
