"tayed at Holiday Inn Express Swindon West for two nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The service was good throughout the stay, with friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast was included, which was decent and convenient each morning. The hotel was comfortable and suited my needs well for a short stay."

"Booked for a four night stay at around 18.30 the guest above started doing some kind of work out. Lots of jumping around and running on the spot. This went on for an hour as it wasn’t late just turned the tv up. At around 04.30 thought the ceiling was coming down unbelievable. Managed to get hold of the member of staff who thankfully went and stopped this fitness fanatic. On leaving for the day the nice lady on reception said they have spoken to the gentleman. Unfortunately he is booked in for the week. She said the duty manager is going to ask the gentleman to move onto ground floor room this way he can’t disturb anyone. Well obviously the duty manager ignored my complaint. Same happened that night some people have no consideration for others. Packed up and headed somewhere else. Week manager who obviously doesn’t care about the guests who stay at this hotel. Top it off dirty towels and stains on the bedding."

"Wonderful location and friendly staff; however, the way the property is maintained leaves a lot to be desired. First of all, cleanliness is quite poor. In one room we found mold inside the window frames; in another, a broken window pane; and there were numerous cobwebs throughout the house. The bathtubs are potentially dangerous due to the height difference between the floors, and the bathroom fixtures also show clear signs of age. The hairdryer is frankly ridiculous—it looks at least 30 years old. The food is underwhelming and nothing special; I would not recommend dining on site. We had high expectations, but they were all disappointed, and even the breakfast was not enjoyable. Our only thanks go to the staff, who were always attentive and helpful."

"A tired and run down hotel. Room was depressing, holes in the walls, trim missing from desk, bathroom stains. It was a standard of room i would expect from a £20 per night hotel, not £99"

"We went there for a meal. Our previous visits had been okay, but this times the menu had changed. Poor choice of food, so we ordered the beefburger. This consisted of two halves of a burnt roll, which held a burger, a piece of lettuce and a thin swipe of onion jam, held together with a plastic skewer, served on a block of wood. With some chips in a small bowI. I had to ask for a proper plate as it was impossible to deal with this food on a block of wood. ( A great item for billions of bacteria to multiply unless scrubbed clean after every use ) ! Very poor choice of food on the menu, certainly disappointing since we dined there last time. At least the stupid car registration has stopped. We had a difficult job cancelling the fine we were sent after a previous visit. I would add that the service was acceptable and friendly. But wouldn't eat there again unless some proper meals were on offer."
