The area is terrible, looks like a 3rd world country, and I'm from Rochdale, but the hotel itself was nice. Check in was nice and easy. We were shown something to scan to pay for parking. Next morning though no one was at reception, I tried scanning the QR codes on my phone but nothing was happening, turns out I had to take the paper to the machine to be scanned, this should have been made more clear the night before. Rooms very comfy and breakfast nice

This a modern hotel with a tasteful designed interior in the entrance, bar and restaurant. The breakfast is superb,all the staff go out of the way to assist hotel guests, the room was perfect,the air conditioning was greatly appreciated, the hotel is very quiet due to the thick glass in the windows. Everything you need is all near to the hotel,there is a plethora of choices for restaurants all within walking distance. I could not find any faults and never been disappointed when staying there.

I've just returned from 5 nights at the Swindon Town Centre Premier Inn. By booking in advance and choosing to stay Thursday to Tuesday morning I paid £234 which I consider an absolute bargain. I chose not to use the small car park at the hotel for which you pay but instead parked in the Whalebridge Multi-storey Car Park which is about 3 minutes walk away. For some unknown reason this car park is currently free and has been so since I first used it in February this year. Normally this car park should be £10.70 a day. Whilst Swindon may not be everyone's cup of tea, the location of this new Premier Inn is fine. It's 32 steps away from Wetherspoons, about 5 minutes walk away from the bus station & a few more minutes walk away from the railway station. As a walker of both the Thames Path & The Ridgeway, its location is therefore perfect for me. As a new hotel the rooms and public spaces are welcoming & in great condition. As with nearly every Premier Inn I've ever stayed in (& there are a lot), the check in booths were out of action more than they were in service. Both lifts were working the whole time of my stay. I had cooked brekkie each day & took advantage of the meal deal on 2 nights. You don't expect fine dining at Premier Inn but the food was fine. One evening meal in particular was the best I've ever had in a Premier Inn. As ever its the staff that can really make a good hotel & the Swindon Town Centre staff were no exception. They were all very friendly & helpful. A few names worthy of a mention are Alison with the red hair, Tyler & Maxi. Also, the left-handed check-in guy whose name I don't have & the foreign lady with blonde hair & specs who was in charge of cooking the brekkie & was so happy in her work. Hope they can be identified & thanked. To my mind this is the best Premier Inn I've ever stayed in. Thank you Swindon Town Centre.

Wonderful Premier Plus room on the 5th floor so really quiet. The complimentary still and sparkling water in the room’s fridge was a lovely surprise, and the high class shower gel plus body wash in the well designed shower room was excellent. The work, lounge and bar spaces of this hotel are excellent. The staff on reception, in the bar and at breakfast were kind, good humoured and very helpful. The breakfast was the best I have had in a Premier Inn.
