"This hotel is located outside of the city center of Barcelona. It is just across from Fira Barcelona Gran Via, which has a L9 South metro stop. Hence, it is not difficult to go to the city from the hotel. The room is spacious with nice decor but the hotel seems a little old as there are some cracks here and there. The gym is usable but not really complete. There is a huge selection of food for the breakfast but they are not the best, either."

"I have requested a room in higher floor, far from lift. However I was allocated a room on 1st floor next to lift. The noise in the corridors is loud and some you can hear clearly in late night. Also you can see nothing through the window as it is a wall outside the window. The view is quite bad as you can’t see anything.
The location is good, close to Espanya underground station. Airport shuttle bus stop is outside hotel as well. A good restaurant is 1-min walk from hotel. The reception lady and gentleman are very good apart from one wearing glasses. Room service is done pretty well and it is clean. Shower water is hot and strong, which is good. Free luggage storage."

"Convenient hotel. Steps away from placa catalunya and La Ramblas. Lots of places to eat and shop. Across from the hotel are two convenience shops where we bought water.
The rooms were comfortable and had heat and air conditioning. All amenities you require were in the room. Toothbrushes, razor. They had a travel adaptor in the cabinet of the mini fridge which was very helpful.
Thank you to the staff for allowing us to use the downstairs facilities as we arrived too early for the check in. And again when my husband wasn’t feeling well.
The door to the lobby is locked so don’t have to worry about theft. Very close to the metro stations.
Overall a great choice for exploring Barcelona."

"We had rather a long wait to check in and were not acknowledged by the staff on reception who were dealing with two other guests checking in. There were five staff behind the reception desk but it took a good five minutes maybe longer before anyone attended to us!! This did not feel like the best start but our check in was then done quickly and efficiently but not what I would call a warm welcome.
Our room was on the sixth floor and was nice and clean. The beds are really comfortable and apart from the half the tv channels everything worked fine. I was surprised there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room considering this is a four star hotel.
The pool area was also a little disappointing."

"We love the location of the hotel. We got to watch sunrise everyday and the beach 24/7. I love sitting in the balcony with my husband as we watch the beach and people on the beach. The bed was alright. It was two beds joined together and we felt the divide when in bed. I feel that the beds could be improved. House keeping happens when we are out but I noticed that the cleaner didn’t do a good job. They need to properly vacuum the floor not just fix the bed."

After coming from an 18-hour trip, we truly appreciated the early check-in and the lovely upgrade, it was the perfect welcome and exactly what we needed. The location is absolutely ideal, especially as a pre-cruise stay, and being our first time in Barcelona, Ohla set the tone for our entire trip.
The staff were all incredibly nice and friendly, making us feel at home right away. The cava and chocolates waiting in our room were such a sweet and thoughtful touch, but what touched us most was the handwritten note congratulating us on our anniversary, it made the moment even more special. Thank you Iraia and Andrea.
Breakfast was also fantastic, with a great selection of delicious options. I have to give a special mention to the mini croissants, they were absolutely divine, melting in your mouth with every bite!
We would also like to especially mention Fatima from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make sure our breakfast experience was perfect. She was so warm, genuinely friendly, and attentive. She even prepared us some really good lattes, which made our mornings even better. Her kindness and hospitality truly stood out!
We will absolutely book here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Ohla Barcelona, for making our first visit to this beautiful city unforgettable!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive, making me feel welcomed and valued.
The room was spotless, spacious, and well-appointed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially cozy, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary water, toiletries, and fast Wi-Fi.
The location was perfect – conveniently situated close to key attractions, yet peaceful and quiet at night. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety of options to suit every taste.
Overall, it was an excellent experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and top-notch service.

AARC5555The hotel is very new and has nice rooms with a great view on the higher floors. Especially the balcony is nice. The rooms are spacious and bright, equipped with all necessities like a safe or a hairdryer. For special equipment like a kettle you need only ask at reception.
The check in was quick and convenient, rooms can be reached quickly by elevator. There is one restaurant and one Café, the breakfast buffet in the restaurant is rich and tasty.
Also the rooftop bar with an indoor and outdoor are including the small infinity pool is great, but I imagine it being crowded during high season.
The location of the hotel is decent yet not perfect. It is roughly a 5-10 min walk to the nearest Tram or Subway station (probably El Maresme Forum) and there is also a big shopping mall. The beach is a 20 min walk, alternatively you can use bus H16 only 5 min from the hotel to get to most beach areas along the coast. There are also some small shops and bars nearby, but not the best. Now the downside, the hotel seems to be next to a rundown living quarter with shady people hanging around.
To get from the hotel to the city by subway or tram, plan around 25-30 min.
The service was friendly and the room was cleaned very well every day. Only once it happened that at around 11:30 a hotel employee knocked our door angrily and said loudly „Checkout“, but we have booked for several more days. He apologized after I told him, obviously he got the wrong room, but still this communication error shouldn’t happen in a 4star hotel. Also one day we didn’t receive the free bottle of water even though we disposed of the previous empty one. Besides that, everything was good.
All in all I would recommend this hotel for its nice views over the city, the new and clean rooms and the competitive prices. The city as well as the beach require 15-30 minutes travel time on public transportation, so a Hola Barcelona card is recommended.

PPotato02We had an excellent experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a lovely male receptionist who made us feel genuinely welcome. Even though we arrived 30 minutes before the official check-in time, he kindly arranged an early check-in for us, and the whole process was smooth and efficient.
We were given a room on the 5th floor, and it exceeded all our expectations. The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the train station, with several local supermarkets nearby, including one just a few doors down.
The main tourist attractions are a bit too far to reach on foot, but they’re very easy to access by train. However, if you don’t mind walking, as we didn’t, Sagrada Família is only about a 25-minute walk away, and many other sights can also be reached on foot without any trouble.
The hotel provides a card to indicate whether you’d like housekeeping, and every time we selected “yes,” the housekeeping team did an outstanding job. We stayed for four nights, and the service was consistently excellent. All the receptionists were incredibly friendly and polite, always greeting us with warm, welcoming smiles.
We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

GGeiorgiestravelsThe hostel is well located being only a couple of minutes walk from a metro station. Easy to get to an airport bus.
The 8 bed dorms are well designed with each bed having a light, charging point and spaces to place items. The steps up the ladder are wide enough to place your whole foot, and the is a pole to hold on to making it easy to climb in and out of the top bunk.
The area at the end of the room has a locker for each bed - lockers able to store even a large suitcase ( bring your own padlock ). The lockers even have a pole and one hanger inside which is handy. This area has stools and a lamp at the side if the locker meaning someone in that area can put on light without having to put on an overhead light and disturbing everyone. The layout is practical and well designed.
The shared toilets and shower rooms are in the corridor. They are modern and clean and sufficient that I was never waiting.
Laundry costs £9 for a wash and dry. There is only one washer and one drier meaning there were a few times I wanted to do my laundry and it was occupied.
The kitchen is large and includes seating in this area. The kitchen is popular with people cooking; it is well equipped with regards to pots, pans and dishes, however lacks utensils which can make preparing food tricky, I had to prepare fried eggs using a fork to flip them. Difficult to find knives, forks and spoons to eat with. fortunately I travel with my own fork and spoon.
There is 24 hour reception, bar, common room, patio, swimming pool, security doors making it feel more like a hotel rather than hostel. Modern and safe feel. Highly recommended.

Summary:
We had a short break in Barcelona this week and were looking for a clean, well-located room, and that’s exactly what we got. The Park Hotel was a pleasant surprise and definitely shouldn’t be judged by its facade—we were truly impressed.
Room:
Our room on the sixth floor was spacious for a city hotel and had all the amenities you’d expect. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the pillows were firm and supportive—none of those mushy, overly soft ones you often find in hotels. The bathroom was well-equipped, though it might be a bit tight for larger guests.
Cleanliness:
The room was cleaned regularly, and any requests we had were promptly addressed. The pool area was also well-maintained, and the shower room available on our departure day was spotless, making our stay even more comfortable.
Service:
The service was reasonable overall. The staff managed multiple tasks at once, and although they sometimes appeared a bit stressed, they were always prompt, polite, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Location:
The location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. It’s within easy walking distance of Barceloneta, Port Vell, and the El Born district. Plus, the hotel is directly opposite the train station, which made our day trip to Sitges incredibly convenient.
Facilities:
The hotel’s rooftop pool is a nice feature, with about 14 chairs available for sunbathing. The area gets busy in the mid-afternoon, especially when the summer sun is at its peak. The pool itself is a perfect size for a quick cool-down after exploring the city.

We had breakfast included with our booking, which offered all the basics you’d expect from a hotel breakfast. It was a good way to start the day and provided enough variety to fuel up before heading out.
Value for Money:
The Park Hotel offered excellent value for money, given its location, comfort, and amenities.
Tips/Recommendations:
This hotel is ideal if you enjoy a trendy food and cocktail scene combined with the bustling beach atmosphere. It’s a great base for exploring the best of what Barcelona has to offer.
We would definitely return to the Park Hotel on our next visit to Barcelona.

QQueenQueenFree parking and a good location. The staff is not very helpful. One night, we were locked in the basement because the lift was out of order. We had to climb the stairs to go back to the hotel. We tried to explain the situation to the staff, but they scolded us, insisting that the lift was totally fine and that there were no problems at all. The service needs to be improved.

MMellie CWe so thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sensation Sagrada Familia. The location was superb - metro, supermarkets, and places of interest were all within walking distance. The view of Sagrada Familia from our apartment was jaw-dropping. The fully-equipped kitchen allowed us to enjoy a home-cooked Christmas meal. Looking forward to staying here again!

VVieraskäyttäjäI had a beautiful stay. I had been staying and loving the SLS Hotel in Miami and therefore wanted to try this new one in Barcelona. It looks very luxurious and the room I had was very spacious and just beautiful and well thought over all. The only thing that wasn’t super ideal for someone who loves walking a lot is the location. It was great, next to the beach and also really great amenities however getting to the city one would always have to take an Uber since it’s quite far away from it. At some point I started riding the bicycle and that was great as well but it just needs to be considered. Also you should not sleep with the doors to the balcony opened. They do warn about it at the hotel and for a reason. There are truly a lot of mosquitoes and just after one night leaving the door opened I was completely covered with mosquito bites. Also if possible ask for rooms farther away from the pool as that is where most of the mosquitoes will be. I got moved to a new room so the service is amazing.
