The service here alone was some of the best we’ve had after travelling for over a year! Pros: - super comfy beds - lovely AC - very clean - warm showers - amazing pillows - great location - loveliest owner you’ll ever meet - sweet receptionist - great body wash - very reasonably priced Cons: - literally none Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Tappa obbligata prima di arrivare a Siem Reap, bellissimo tramonto sulla montagna dove c'è la grotta dei pipistrelli e le tristemente famose killing caves. L'hotel costruito all'inizio degli anni 70, prima dell'arrivo dei khmer rossi è stato rilevato dalla famiglia che ora lo gestisce nel 1992. Utilizzato dapprima per dare appoggio alle forze militari, ha avuto il suo splendore a cavallo del nuovo millennio. Purtroppo con il covid la situazione in generale in Cambogia ha azzerato il turismo, come in tutto il mondo, che però qui fatica a riprendersi. Tantissimi hotel chiusi un pò ovunque, si salvano solo le 2 grandi città. La gentilezza del titolare vale sicuramente una fermata, vi organizzerà tutto lui, dal tuctuc quando scendete alla fermata, tour e biglietti per Siem Reap. Veramente una persona di cuore.

Fairly cheap but a bit outdated and fairly budget. Not super clean when we arrived, the bathroom mirror was filthy which made us wonder what else hadn’t been cleaned. Location was ok, comfortable enough, had decent nights sleeps. Wet room set up for shower. Had a kettle but no mugs, though were given tankards when we asked. Staff English was ok and they friendly on front desk. Mr Soon who is a tuk tuk driver based from the hotel did us a tour and he was amazing. Overall ok, for a few budget nights to explore Battambang.

We had a wonderful day with Mr. Khem Ry. We did a tour of the best places in Battambang. He spoke English really well and had some useful information about the places we got to. He was kind and had a nice tuktuk. We really enjoined our day. Would recommend!

The room was quiet, spacious, clean, & the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff were very helpful, going above & beyond in their service! They very kindly took the initiative to call Giant Ibis Express after hours to arrange pickup for us, from the hotel to the bus terminal, when they found out we had not made this arrangement. This was despite the fact that we had booked our bus tickets ourselves, and not through Royal Hotel. The hotel actually arranges tours & transportation, which we would have gladly booked through them, had we known earlier. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely stay there should we visit Battambang again.

What a magical day! We booked a tour with Mr. Khem Ry through our hotel and he was great 👍 He was incredibly kind with great humour! The tour was adjusted for what we wanted to do on the day and we did it all in perfect timing. He was patient throughout the day and gave great information for each stop. Would recommend to anyone ✨

Mr. Khem Ry was our tour guide for a half-day tour of Battambang. We went with him to a temple, the Bamboo Trains, the Killing Caves and the Bat Caves . On the way there we stopped for some sights, which he explained to us and gave us the opportunity to take photos. He was very friendly, funny and well informed. The tour with him was a lot of fun. We can definitely recommend it. Thank you very much! 🥰🥰

zentrale Lage dennoch ruhig, Aircon und heißes Wasser auf Wunsch, nette freundliches Personal, bequemes Bett, nutzbarer Schreibtisch , großes Zimmer mit Bad , wifi, alles sehr sauber, sehr gutes Preis leistungsverhaeltnis. Ich kann die Übernachtung sehr empfehlen

I would stay in this Hotel purely just to meet and get a chance to get a tour from the TukTuk driver - the reliable Mr. Philay, he is the best and one of the kindest, most thoughtful and cheerful people we have ever met. We feel lucky that we got a chance to get brought around to see all the sights and hear his stories, very inspiring. If you are reading this I would strongly encourage you to take opportunity to explore Battambang with Mr Philay you won’t regret it!
