Spruce Haven - 5 br home on 53 acres with pond

Exceptional… Simply Exceptional. I honestly don’t know where to begin. This place is a certified hidden gem. A perfect family home. A legit getaway with the conveniences of home. And our perfect host Cindy, in wonderful to work with. Patient, understanding, accommodating, answered every question I had, very responsive. Let’s start with the house itself, very spacious and well designed. Everyone in my party had somewhere to bunk down. Even to the point where they started alternating it so they can enjoy the different areas. From the beautiful fireplace living room to the large dining table to the well appointed kitchen, was all fantastic. Oh how could I forget the game room downstairs which my entire party made use of. Moving on to the outside, my sweet lord, this property is something else in that regard. The space itself outside for you to enjoy is gigantic, plus the hiking trail starting right in the backyard, wonderful. And let’s not forget the pond right in the backyard, huge with plenty of fish, mainly bass and different species of panfish from my experience. Picture this, waking up and enjoying a nice cup of coffee on the back deck as the sun rises and drenches the pond and grass. Found myself doing that except it was coffee in one hand and a rod in the other. Even spotted some rabbits and deers right on the property itself. Overall I would highly recommend this property without even blinking, and would absolutely return for another stay without question, a thing I’m looking forward to. Thank you Cindy

Wolf family Our stay at Spruce Haven was nice. It’s a great property. The family has a fun time playing in the big yard and in the pond. The kids were very happy with all the fish they caught. Unfortunately, my husband was not as happy, he was hoping for bigger fish in the pond. The house was nice. The kitchen definitely needs to be bigger, especially when you are cooking for 14 people. A bathroom in the basement would also be a plus. Otherwise, our family had a wonderful visit. Cindy was very responsive to the questions we asked along the way.

Guys Getaway This house was perfect for our group of 7 guys. The house supplied loads of outdoor activities (cornhole, washers, golf clubs, raft, horsehoes, and many others) to keep you busy. The indoor activities include pool table, shuffleboard, darts and foosball. So, there's plenty to do, regardless of the weather. I rent homes through VRBO fairly often, and i find that most homes are always missing something. Not this home! The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you'd need to make many homecooked meals. The house is well maintained, clean, and a perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Cindy was a joy to work with. She always responded to any question prior to my arrival within a few hours. And, the welcome gift of local goodies was a nice touch. Thanks so much for opening your home to us Cindy.

Graduation Celebration & Fishing Absolutely loved Spruce Haven. Can't wait to visit again. House was beautiful. Pond was stocked with some good fish, the big bass came out to play at night. Plenty of wood for the firepit and smores. Trails were a fun adventure. Golf hole was fun. The game area provided hours of FUN. Cindy, of course, was wonderful. She helped me arrive without too much anxiety that I was forgetting I might need. We had a great time!

A beautiful place for family Spruce Haven is absolutely beautiful and a perfect place for family gatherings. It had everything right there that we all like to do. The home was clean and tidy. The furnishings were comfortable and welcoming. The gifts that were left for me were awesome. I have nothing negative to say. It was a wonderful stay! Thank you Cindy! I hope we can come back!
