Great location across from surf club and beach. Short walk to beach. Easy parking off-site. Kitchen very well equiped for stay. No outdoor area was available, No cable working. Only 1 lift functioning. None of these were communicated before arrival or even upon checkin. Ocean view is not ocean view for the room provided. More like ocean glimpses/partial oven view. It is not accurately described or needs better explanation. Air conditioning is only in lounge space, bedrooms get very warm, can imagine quite hot in Summer months.

Amazing apartment

Fabulous location, beautiful views. We stayed in a two bedroom appt on the 13th floor (about half way up), and were stunned by the most wonderful view over the beach and straight out across the ocean. We got to watch the moon rise each night, and the sun rise each morning. The kids had such a great time with the offerings of both the inside and outside pools, and their respective spas, plus a tennis court and a gym. That's when they weren't just walking across the road to the well patrolled beach! This is a great property in a fantastic position, with a grocery store at the end of the road and the tram stop just a couple of minutes walk away. All of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. I give it 5 stars!

The location was perfect. Apartment very spacious and clean. The view from balconies were amazing. Staff were lovely. A stroll across the road to beach. Amenities were clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again, can’t recommend this place high enough.

The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the pool and being close to the beach. We had a hire car and great In between location for all the sights and activities. Apartment was very clean.

My stay at BreakFree Acapulco was amazing. The property and the suites, surrounding areas were impeccable. The size of the unit the wrap around balcony with ocean view was incredible. I will definitely recommend this property to my family and friends..

Love this property! We have stayed here most years since 2012. The location is 5*, the apartments are spacious and clean. Many have been updated over the years, and are very comfortable. Most apartments have ocean views, particularly from level 6 and up. Full kitchens, great pools and outdoor BBQ areas, and of course the Northcliffe surf club over the road. Easy walk to Surfers, and light rail at the end of the street to go further afield.

It was a pleasure to stay with Acapulco. They had good old fashioned service which was a pleasant change from staying with private Airbnb owners that think they are doing you the favour by letting their unit to you. It was a very professional experience and they had a nice personalised thoughtful touch in leaving Easter Eggs by the door on Easter.

Hotel was older but well looked after. My only complaint is the lack of air-conditioning and ceiling fans. 1 air conditioner for a 2 bedroom suite isn't enough, especially with only 1 ceiling fan too. Plus the halls and elevator needed some kind of air as well.

Great location, clean, well maintained, excellent staff. Rooms are quite a good size. Nice partial view of the ocean. Right across from the surf club. Only one criticism, not enough teabag variety, only one. Liked the Perrier water in the fridge, complimentary. Aircon worked fine as did the ceiling fans. TV easy to use.

Location was perfect. Value for money for our particular apartment compared to other family members staying at the same time was well below average! Our apartment was clean however VERY outdated and in desperatew need of a renovation ( looked like ti had never been renovated since its initial construction 40 years ago ). Be carfeul how you koo as this very much dictates what quality of room you end up with. Booking online is not clear nor concise regarding what type of beach view you get. I was annoyed to pay the same for other apartments which i would rate 10/10 for quality when mine was 1/10.. On site parking was managed sloppy. i didnt like the fact we had to empty our own rubbish either from the room when we left. Bedding was inadequte, ceiling fans were too noisy to turn on, needed air con in the bedroom not just in the lounge area. Just not value for money AT ALL!!!! Very disappointing!!!!

I booked a 1 bedroom ocean view unit. When we got there we were on the 2nd level with a view of the surf club and other buildings. We had to urgently go to a function so couldn't complain straight away. When we did the hotel said they were fully booked and could not offer another room. I sent several emails in the days/weeks following to the hotel with nil replied. Very disappointed and we paid extra for the ocean view we did not get. I at least expected a reply but just got "crickets"....

Excellent stay. Next to beach. Staff friendly and helpful at reception. Only negative is construction across the road. Please note only limited reception hours. But do have safe for after hours. Would stay again

Great location , parking is always an issue, comfortable bed,good size unit, close to good takeaway and surf club. Light rail at the end of the street. Generally a good place to stay, interested to see the renovations.
