Boutique Camping Bunja

There isn’t much that is “boutique “ about Boutique Camping Bunja, except the location of the site. The actual location is lovely, right on the beach on the lovely island of Brac. But the site itself is a different story. Their publicity material claims “a touch of luxury” amid “privacy”. Beware, you will receive neither. We were given a pitch advertised as 10m x 10m, 100m2. It was nothing of the sort. I have a 7.4 metre motorhome, which they knew, and by their staff’s own admission, it would not fit diagonally across the pitch. In addition, the pitch had two very tall trees on it, one on the left and the other on the right. Both trees leaned into the pitch, meaning that the only way we could fit onto the pitch was wedged awkwardly between the two trees, unable to properly open the awning and looking directly onto the neighbouring pitch from a distance of about 10 feet. Absolutely horrible. So much for the “privacy” they mentioned. On walking around the site, we noticed that the majority of pitches were very close to each other and people and vehicles seemed crammed in. In addition, there are no heges or fences between pitches which might have afforded a little privacy, it is all ‘open plan’ with pitches squashed together, no pitch demarcation signs other than a pitch number making if difficult to identify where one pitch ends and another begins. The shower and toilet blocks were clean and modern, but there were far too few for the number of people. 2 of the 3 fibreglass “shower pods” were apparently out of order during our stay and the one that was open had no extractor, meaning that, in the 35 degree heat, even a cold shower turned the pod into a steam room. Uncomfortable and horrible. The one washing machine was almost impossible to use as there was always a queue to use it. There needed to be at last 3 for the number of people on the site. So much for the claim of “a touch of luxury”. Although the site as a whole is really not as advertised, the staff are lovely: clearly trying to do the job of dealing with unsatisfactory facilities and unhappy customers to the best of their ability. As I was wrangling with the staff about our terrible pitch, another customer told me that their experience had been much the same and that in fact, I was the fifth person to be dissatisfied with their pitch that day! If you’re going to use this site, expect to be squeezed in without any screening between pitches onto a possibility inadequately sized plot and to have to wait if you need to use the showers, toilet or washing machine. On the plus side, the on site bar and restaurant is good, with lovely sea views.

Il campeggio è molto ben strutturato e moderno, pulito ed ordinato, ma purtroppo non c'è spiaggia, è tutto un litorale di sassi senza accesso al mare, ad esclusione di due piccole piattaforme di legno. Eccessivo il prezzo, circa 82 € a notte, per una struttura che non ha curato la possibilità di godere la spiaggia ed il suo splendido mare. Spero che nel futuro investano anche per fornire questo indispensabile servizio.

Ein kleiner Platz voller Natur. Tolle großzügige bis sehr große Parzellen. Saubere Toiletten und Waschhäuser. Dass manche Urlauber Schweine sind kann man dem Platz nicht anlasten. Super nettes und freundliches Personal. Toller Beach

Der Stellplatz ist völlig überteuert und die Sanitäranlagen sind nicht besonders sauber und gepflegt. Wir mussten leider früher als geplant abreisen und mussten trotzdem den vollen Preis bezahlen, dass ist uns bei Stellplätzen in Kroatien noch nie passiert.

Wir waren 5 Nächte hier. Es passte alles. Gute Lage, sehr nettes Personal, saubere sanitäre Anlagen. Ein grosses Lob an das Restaurant, sehr guter Service, gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis und sehr leckeres Essen.wir kommen ganz sicher wieder.

Hoher Preis keine Leistung Von 4 Tagen Aufenthalt wurden 1 mal die Sanitäranlagen kurz geputzt und noch nicht sauber aber auch nur weil wir uns beschwert haben. Das für 60€ die Nacht für einen Stellplatz. Der Camping ist offen so dass die Leute von auswärts mit ihren Hunden über die Anlage an den Wohnwagen spazieren. Nicht zu empfehlen!!!!!
