Hotel Neptun Beach

Writing on night of a 70+ birthday..not really beach weather yet, but could have been a lot less pleasant, as yesterday was ! OK - the travel agent said 'Bulgaria'..I thought 'Well, it's a new country to tick off' & by the time it came to do any checking on Sunny Beach, the deal was done ! Let's get this out of the way - the resort, quiet as it is in early May, will assuredly suit many folk looking for a 'lively' break. Am NO T one of them ! The hotel, and the lovely, clean beach & sea panorama in front and to the sides, is a different matter ! The hotel's really well-appointed; clean, bright, welcoming (though the Bulgarians would probably never claim to be as overtly hospitable as Brits may be used to in more traditional destinations) and in most respects a great success. Disappointments - relatively few - are that in a very short 'open' season there are still no signs of a beach life (the first 4 days here certainly warranted it), there was no a la carte restaurant open for a birthday dinner, & the best bar in the hotel declares itself not part of the AI package, so remains pathetically empty, despite a TV with all the sport you could hope for. Found this 'catch' for the very first time in a Tunisian hotel in March, & it's just as unimpressive this time around. Never felt the need to go out for food...& I'm pretty well-travelled & fussy (+ the 'recommended' choices in town could easily cost as much as a v. decent restaurant in UK); other bars on-site do OK ( + there are pleasant little nibbles available alongside); the whole ambience of the hotel is clean/efficient/providing all you are likely to want. Oh - little extra - on returning to my room just before lunch today there was a small package with 'Happy Birthday' chocolates from the hotel...absolutely NO way I'd given any indication of the occasion. Gotta be worth a try, eh?

Lovely hotel. Right by the beach / sea. Very clean. Helpful staff . Rooms are clean and spacious. Food better than other hotels I've visited, drinks are nice , and not weakened. Entertainment okay , we went out a lot . Entertainment staff lovely and friendly. Would come again

This hotel has the best entertainment team I’ve ever seen. The holiday was in an excellent location, rooms were interconnected so that was great as there was 3 adults & 3 Kids. The rooms were cleaned daily, you can hire beach towels & you get the money back at the end there is a mini fridge in room & it’s cheap to drink the beers, pop, water they supply. Food not to bad we managed to find something but the kids struggled a little however the snack bar is good but would be better if they also did chips. Entertainment was realy good especially the shows the entertainment team put on. We would defo go back to this hotel. Special thanks to Stillian Boris & Janesa you are fantastic & provide hours of entertainment.

This hotel was the best All inclusive hotel iv stayed in!!!!!.. in a long time the rooms where well kept and very clean the cleaner was exceptional and very efficient. We had the family room for 6 and was very spacious and enough room for 2 adults 2 teens 3yr old and a 9yr old had there own balcony onto the front strip full air con 2 shower rooms and toilets. Free safe and plenty of storage. The hotel it self was a 5bstar plus for me the grounds are beautifully kept and very pretty the pool area was very nice and pool was massive never over crowded......plenty of sunbeds........ a nice little kiddies pool and little play area plenty of activities for all ages there is also a kids club the girls where always very friendly and we became very friendly with them all The restaurant was your typical All Inclusive very well presented and plenty to choose from each day, same for the drinks plenty of choice. Also have snacks through out the day too. Pool bar to get your alcoholic/soft drinks all through the day. The entertainment for us was the highlight of the holiday the guys ( boris, paco,stelko guys and the girls where very entertaining had my partner Richard/kids up on stage every night we was there lol and they took part in all the activities throughout the day my kids loved all of the animation team as did we.... and they made our stay very memorable ❤ and we became good friends and will hopefully keep in touch with them all. All in all this hotel is the best hotel iv stayed in as a family and will be booking for next year. It was out first time in Bulgaria and we loved every minute of it......can't wait to come back to sunny beach ⛱ .......Tammy Richard Megan Libby Emily Jensen ❤

Been to Bulgaria a few times but first time at sunny beach and it didn’t disappoint the hotel was just excellent and the staff amazing if you need any help The entertainment staff were out standing and so friendly and always got you involved The restaurant always had a good variety of food and alway well done Pool area and hotel were excellent The cleaners on the floors worked the you know what’s off to make sure it was kept clean and always had a smile on there face Will be returning next year as it has everything you need top hotel top staff worth every penny The only negative was gaming room could have a bit more in other wise can’t complain
