Effect Grand Victoria Hotel - Ultra All Inclusive

Extremely low level of the hotel, compared to last year. The quality of the food has dropped to almost zero, not to mention the living creatures (flies) that you can find in it... Despite the announcement on the website about the repair of the air conditioning system, the cooling in the rooms is =0. Despite the information about the possibility of visiting the 3 a-la-carte restaurants with a stay of at least 5 nights, on site they will tell you that... you can visit only one... The service staff, with the exception of the bartenders, does not speak either Bulgarian or English. The animation and entertainment programs that the hotel offered last year have been reduced to almost -1... I would give a positive rating only to the girls and boys from the bars, because they are the only ones who try to make the guests' stay more pleasant!!! I do not recommend the hotel!

Stayed at the Grand Victoria hotel in June 2025 good location hotel keep very clean,room ok those with a seaview it can get a bit noisy.The dining room is not really large enough you had to pick your times to eat,the hot food was not hot enough luke warm at best if not cold.Told the reps and management so they had a microwave not good enough, staff ok but bar staff very slow usually only one serving behind the bars . entertainment was poor for adults pool was cold but you get free sunbed on the beach.

Visited early June 2025 for 11 x nights. Went all-inclusive. Hotel room clean, tidy & spacious. Lovely Ocean Front view of Sunny Beach. Hotel is centrally located right on the beach front. Pool spotless although the life guard needs a personality transplant. If he won £200M on the Lottery, he wouldn't smile. Staff however are polite and respectful, maintaining their professional boundaries. The Restaurant food is well presented - but served 'Balkan Style' - that's luke-warm (cold) to you and me. Restaurant is looking tired and on 3 different levels, accidents sadly happen. People falling up/down steps getting hurt - whilst carrying their food. If you like a free-for-all buffet style restaurant, with children running around with their chocolate spread pancakes - do get there early - then this Hotel will suit you. Says it's a 4 star. No way - it's 3.5 star plus - at very best. There are 3 x bars & whilst staff really do try their best - they are very slow - mainly due to the several languages they have to learn, as well as master the array of cocktails on offer. Stick with them though - they are trying ! Ideally they need 2 x serving behind the bar - as it does get busy. Food snacks around the pool (11am x 5pm) are served hot and freshly made. They are good. The Italian A-Le-Carte Restaurant is also excellent and a must-visit. The Hotel Guest Relations Manager is understaning & supportive. The Hotel Security patrol the beach access point, which is necessary to make your stay comfortable. The Seaguls are sharp-eyed and capitaluse on any unguarded Pizza & Chips left by sunbeds. They can be aggressive and will have a right old party taking-off with any left-overs. Hey! They are a lot bigger close-up than you realise ! The Hotel has a section of the beach with 200 sun beds with umbrellas that are FREE to use. Avoid the blue sun-beds, which are council patrolled and they charge 10 Lev per bed (£4.50p). Those from the UK are in the minority (less than 8% of guests) in the Victoria Hotel - as the majority of guests are either Bulgarian, Romainian, Russian & German. Would we visit Sunny Beach again? 100% yes. Victoria Hotel ? Sadly not. They still have much work to do - to reach a standard that is expected of a 4 star plus Hotel. Season runs 1 June to early October. Ideal for families with children - but not suitable for an adults only stay. Enjoy your holiday, if you decide to choose this Hotel ! I really enjoyed my stay at the Grand Victoria Hotel. Courteous staff, good cuisine for every taste, any drinks in the bars at your request, a clean sandy beach and a stern security guard. I would like to visit this hotel again with great pleasure and recommend it to everyone.

Loud music and overall very loud area throughout the night. Reception and guest relations staff were very unhelpful, food and drink selection was ok. No parking at hotel so we had to leave our car a mile away and get shuttled. Unless you’re staying for 10 days or more, you’re probably not getting a reservation for either of the specialty restaurants

Everything was perfect, from the recepsion, to staff of bar, very kindly, everyone is smiling, very helpful, Clean, close to the center, rooms are so cozy, it worth it. Sure we will back again, and i highly recommendit this place. 10/10 everthing
