Good stay Nice hotel, large pool, good bar/ resteraunt. Not too far from the main attractions.

We arrived at 12am & The receptionist took over an hour to check us all in. With this in mind we have a one year old and when we were finally checked in there was no cot in the room ready for us. I’m sorry but how do they expect a one year old to sleep on a sofa bed?? There was no facilities around or open by the time we had checked in to buy the baby some milk so we had walked miles to find a shop at 2am. Reception not helpful at all. The hotel is clean but is at the quieter side of sunny beach. No brush in our room so could never sweep the floor. Constantly needing to use the key fob to exit to the pools. The rooms- basic utensils , didn’t even have bowls for self catering The pool area looks nice from afar , though but the water was freezing, apart from tiles coming away from the swimming pool which children kept putting in their mouths The pool area was sooo slippery, a lot of people kept falling over. lifeguards putting sun beds away when it wasn’t anywhere near closing time and people needed beds after being out the hotel all day. Also lifeguards putting the umbrellas down when people hadn’t finished using them. The beach is about a 15 min walk & flower street is 30 min walk. Restaurant- didn’t cater for babies at all. Asked for some milk for baby, she filled the bottle up a quarter of the way but charged us a lot. Or if we had asked for a small meal for baby or a small portion of rice , they didn’t charge any cheaper nor make the meals smaller. They weren’t allowed to change anything on the tills- ridiculous if you ask me. Bulgaria people- I’d never return back to Bulgaria ever again. 99% of people were rude. We had a few comments from some men in the restaurants around the resort “what are you going to tip me?” It felt like all Bulgarians wanted from us was money any chance they could. No one ever smiled out of the resort. The receptionists bar one were always moody and unapproachable. Jet2 shouldn’t sell holidays to places that are closing down. By the time we were halfway into our holiday a lot of restaurants were closed. On our last day the pool was closed, restaurants all closed & bar closed and we weren’t getting picked up until 8pm. Stranded with not much to do. Once check out time had arrived we weren’t allowed any access to the hotel apart from the main lobby. They had took swings off the park so the children couldn’t play in there, but people live here??? We were told we would be charged 50 lev if we had left bags of rubbish in the rooms. We may as well be the cleaners at this rate. Hotel is perfect if you don’t want to do anything whilst on holiday. I also don’t recommend coming here at this time of year. I’ve been to sunny beach before, 5 years ago and it was never this bad before. Supermarkets are quite expensive, anything you need like nappies, shampoos, conditioners or sweets / chocolates / crisps are all more expensive than at home.

Room big..bed big...bar very shabby 2 big pools .lots off beds available.. But restaurant and bar very shabby l thought..nothing nice about sitting in a dark dingy restaurant. Bar needs upgrade badly . Large hotel..not far from bars and restaurants..
