"Two adults spent 2 nights here in late August as part of a bus tour group and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was large by European standards, with twin beds, night tables, a large desk/chair, and sofa. Lighting was well done, especially in the bath area. Our room had a combo tub/shower with half glass door that was extremely difficult to get in and out of. Also the tub bottom was very slippery and there were no grab bars like in American hotels. The hotel boasts a spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, several hot tubs and numerous toys for children/children’s pools. Robes, towels and slippers are provided in each room. The 2 buffet dinners we had were excellent as were the 2 buffet breakfasts. The comforter on the bed was too warm at night--the room really needs sheets and mid-weight blankets on the beds. The staff were very nice. We definitely would stay here again."

Innvik Fjordhotell

"The hotel is located in the town of Innvik, a small town facing the North Fjord. When booking, there was no "lake view" option in the room type selection, but we were given two rooms directly facing the fjord. We had another lake view breakfast the following day. The room was simple, but the view from the window and the surrounding forest environment were so pleasant that I would give it a perfect score."

"Room was a little small, no wardrobe, vert little hanging space, no tv.. Difficult to regulate the temperature, and it was necessary to open the window during the night. No other option for dinner than their buffet, which had a huge choice of foods but was very expensive - the nearest restaurant was 45 minutes to drive. Their website claimed extensive hiking possibilities, but the staff had no idea about this, and it turned out that there are no marked hiking trails anywhere near the hotel or off old Stryn road. Some days there are bus groups, and dinner and breakfast become a feeding frenzy."

"When we arrived at the reception, the elderly landlady was already waiting to greet us. She said we were the only guests that evening and then led us to the cabin, giving us a detailed introduction to the facilities and the surrounding supermarkets, restaurants, and attractions. The moment I opened the cabin door, I was stunned by the breathtaking view outside the window. It had been raining heavily the day we arrived, but the view of Lake Oppstrynsvatn, reflecting a ring of glacier-capped mountains, with clouds swirling among them, was already incredibly beautiful. The next day, after the weather cleared up, the view was even more stunning. The room was fully equipped. There was a Joker supermarket a 3-minute drive away, and in Stryn town, there were REMA1000, Kiwi, and Extra supermarkets, about a 30-minute drive away. REMA had a wider selection. The living room had a fireplace and radiators; it had been a bit chilly outside due to the drop in temperature, but with the radiators on, both rooms and the living room were very warm. Sitting by the window in the living room, sipping coffee and admiring the glacial lake views, I could easily spend the whole morning in a daze. It was such a beautiful place that I didn't want to disturb it when I left; I tidied it up neatly and cleanly, just like when I first arrived. Please collect your trash and dispose of it in the trash cans near the reception area."

"Ongelma oli Trip.com ja vaikka majoitus oli täysin maksettu, Hjelle Hotel ei saanut mitään vahvistusta. Hotellin omistaja teki kuitenkin super työ järjestää uudelleen vaihtoehtoinen majoitus. Ja meni ylimääräinen kilometri kutsua meidät heidän buffetillallinen. Joten täysi merkit Hjelle Hotel. Trip.com Mutta kauhea työ lähetti minulle juuri huomautuksen ongelmasta suunnitellun saapumispäivän. Kaikki ne tarjosivat oli ilmoitus ja palautus. Mieti sitä Trip.com - mitä odotat asiakkaan tekevän matkalla ja huippusummerin aikana? Miten varaan vaihtoehtoisen majoituksen viime hetken ja epäonnistuminen mitä tapahtuu?"

"Great location with direct view over the Fjord. No direct neighbors except three sheep boxes who like to feed with lion teeth. Clean, cozy with everything you need. Very nice renter."
