Nothing to see here
Arrived in stroncone earlier than expected as we we hiking we had heavy backpacks so we called to the hotel to drop in our packs, we were with a very miserable woman who seemed completely put out by us arriving so early, we said we only wanted to leave our bags as they were so heavy and would return at the check in time. She let us leave our bags and we left the hotel to explore Stroncone, which took all of 20 mins. We decided that we eould not stay a full day and night in stroncone and instead move on to Reiti, which was our next destination. We were happy to forfeit the price of the hotel for the night, but I have to point out that when I booked this botel months ago the money was taken for this night straight away, I can only assume the hotel does this as I'm sure they have alot of no-show. Overall if yr thinking of comong to stroncone don't bother, bypass it as nothing to seem here.

Old but well kept hotel. Nice staff and very hospitable host who was taking 8nterest in our rally trip and gave us guidance.to l9cal attractions. Bed and room was nice, clean and come with aircondition. Breakfast was okay, not the same selection of food as other stays, but still okay. Would recommend! 👍

Location splendida in un borgo medievale intatto e suggestivo. Personale gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Trattamento familiare e molto amichevole. Interessante la sala per la prima colazione, che conserva i tratti dell'antica caserma, confinante con due celle di rigore dotate di porte di sicurezza con spioncino. Camere ben arredate e sempre in ordine. Consigliatissimo.

We booked a stay at this hotel based on reviews and photos but to be honest we did not even check in. When we arrived, we walked up the "hill" to the entrance and there was literally no sign of life. Doors and windows were shut - we did not see any people or hear noises. We did not even see a store of any kind. My apologies to the host, but when we arrived, we saw a sign "be back soon" and we decided this was not the place for us to stay. The accommodations looked inviting and comfortable and they may have been, but my family and I did not feel comfortable with the area.

Arrivando si sente subito che ce un'atmosfera diversa da qualsiasi altro Hotel i proprietari gentili e disponibili ti accompagnano nel vivere l'emozione di entrare attraverso questa struttura del 500 in un mondo ormai dimenticato ricco di sapori e odori che danno serenità e pace, un tuffo nel passato insomma che con una ottima colazione rigenera chiunque vuole cogliere tutto ciò. Grazie di tutto ed a presto Giovanni e Roberta.

We know that it is a hotel in a very old town but we did not have the best of experiences. It says that it includes parking but that is not true. The car must be left in the street since the hotel cannot be accessed by car because the streets are almost pedestrian. You have to go up on foot with your bags and it is quite difficult because the streets are cobbled and very steep. Once at the hotel they gave us the room on the top so we had to go up 2 more floors by a quite uncomfortable staircase. And to top it off, the room is made in the loft and the beams and the ceiling are very low so you practically have to walk crouched to avoid breaking your head.
